The ski slopes are groomed regularly, providing a quality experience with little to no wait at the main lift. Despite its small size and being a bit out of the way, visitors find it worth the drive, enjoying the friendly staff, snacks at the lodge, and fun activities like sledding and live music on Saturdays. The staff consistently go above and beyond to ensure a great time for all, from beginners to advanced skiers and kids to adults. Overall, Oak Mountain offers a welcoming atmosphere with good food, enjoyable amenities, and a memorable outdoor experience.
Skiing was great but all of the technology usage needed to get a ticket was very disheartening. I guess the good old days are gone.

The runs are always well groomed, the lines move quickly, and the staff is friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed skiing at Oak this past winter and particularly enjoyed finishing the day with life music, food and drink at the Acorn.
