Highly recommend! Everyone here is so Compassionate towards fur babies. They treat them like their own. Extremely accommodating. Took my fur baby in at a moments notice for an emergency and they saved his life

Took care of my buddy Tommy on short notice. Tomy got in a fight, they got him right in. Got him stitched up and out the same day. Thank you so much for being amazing.

Dr. Aimi and staff were all very helpful and understanding when my husband and I decided to put our dog, Ginger, to sleep. We received a beautiful card from them with footprints. She was very sick and they showed great care and consideration for her.

We have been going to this practice for a long time. I had followed Dr. Falchek through 2 office changes and was happy he had his own practice again. When he retired we saw Dr Kevin and very much liked him. He euthanized 2 of our dogs and was so caring and compassionate. We also saw Dr Lacey until she moved out of town. Now we see Dr Steve. He is different from Dr Lacey but I have found him to be very compassionate and he loves our Molly. He gets right on the floor and plays with her. We are happy there and very pleased that they will remain an independent practice and is not going to join a larger corporation.Thank you Dr Steve and staff.

This place does not let you use the waiting area/lobby. Ever since the Covid lockdowns, you have to wait in your car, call to check-in, then wait for them to come out to you. In some cases then they bring you in directly to the room where your pet will be seen. At least, as of recently, you don't have to wear a mask anymore. It's well past time to unlock the doors people. If my pooch wasn't in his golden years, I'd be looking elsewhere.

I have been a client at this vet office since it was originally opened by Dr. Falchek in 2008 - then with Dr Coughlin, and now with Dr Aimi. I have always received the best service from not only Dr. Steve, but also the entire staff at the office. Appointments are made in a timely manner, and the care provided to all of my dogs has been stellar. I never feel rushed and my dogs are handled with care and get a thorough exam. I have always had multiple dogs of varying ages that are highly active in dog sports and have had wellness visits, bloodwork, vaccinations and allergy shots, dentals, X-rays (including for OFA), abdominal ultrasounds, routine surgeries, emergency surgeries, euthanasia, and even a new cancer treatment provided by this office. If the issue is more extensive than the office can provide, they have always been more than willing to assist in finding specialist care. All services and recommendations are fully explained with the positives and negatives of all treatments. I fully trust Dr Aimi and his entire staff with the care of my dogs, no matter how routine or extensive.

On Friday, May 12th, we brought our dog in because he had a loose tooth. This was our second time seeing Dr. Steve. I was hesitant going back to Country Vet after reading some of the negative comments, but then decided to give them another try.My baby is a nervous little guy, so I was impressed as Stephanie (hope I have the name right) soothed him as she did the blood test. She kept telling him what a good little boy he was. That really meant a lot to us as his owners. Thank you!Dr.Steve was patient with us as we went through a whole list of concerns we had about Pepe.. He NEVER rushed us, or made us feel that we were bothering him.Dr. Steve initially appears to be a low-keyed kind of guy, but once you you begin engaging in conversation with him, his dry sense of humor emerges. He made his recommendations for Pepe, and the technician gave us some printed information to read. The blood results were to come back on Monday the 15th, and I was quite impressed when a little after 9 Monday morning Lindsey called to give me the results.I asked her if she could e-mail me the results of not only the latest blood work up, but also the previous one so that I could compare them. She never made me feel that I was a bother. She promptly e-mailed me the results, which saved me the hassle of looking for it.I want to thank you all for all the hard work you do for our four-legged family members.

Our Charlie can be a handful and Spencerport Country Vet makes his vet visits quick and easy and thorough! In addition, the happy visits they offer and questions they answer are invaluable. I can't gush enough about the Tuesday crew!

Spencerport Country Vet was once a preeminent practice on the west side.Sadly, the competency has fallen considerably with the departure of Dr. Coughlin. The managing vet, Dr. Aimi, was not very thorough when examining our dog. Unfortunately with COVID, we couldn’t be in the office, leaving us unaware of what he was or wasn’t doing during her appointments. We hoped to find another vet but we couldn’t find any that were accepting dogs.I called a few times to discuss problems with her eyes and GI troubles. Knowing she was not comfortable with drops, he offered no alternative solutions for her eyes and dismissed the GI issues entirely. We recently took our dog to see Dr. Aimi because was was throwing up daily. He looked at her and diagnosed her with pancreatitis. He had no intention of doing any blood work until I asked for it.The results came back the next day showing that she was in end stage kidney failure. He had his tech call me to let me know she had “elevated creatinine levels”. I had to call back and get the actual results.Given the gravity of the situation, I think he should have personally called us. Instead he left it to his tech.We had her records transferred to Emergency Services. It looked like there was a gap in bloodwork for several years. We had to euthanize our seven year old dog one week later. I feel that if he had been proactively monitoring her internal organs, this might have been discovered much sooner and we could have implemented dietary changes MUCH sooner. We intended to leave Country Vet, but we were hoping to bring Zoey with us.I am clearly disappointed in what’s become of that facility and I will go out of my way to make sure people know that. Please let our personal loss be the impetus to ensure your pets are getting a better quality of healthcare.

Everyone at the Spencerport country vet are wonderful , polite and courteous. I have had experiences with numerous vets in the area and Dr Steve and his staff are by far the best in the county.

We have been going to the Country Vet since Dr Falcheck owned the practice. We have been proud to have our family pets whom we consider our family members go to the practice. Our oldest lab had surgery and had a complication that was absolutely no fault of theirs. To make sure our baby was ok, Dr Coughlin actually took her home and watched her overnight. We loved her special care! Every single one of our Dogs and Cats have been seen at this clinic. Most recently our Lab Ember was spaded. What a fantastic experience. In and out! I do have to comment on the waiting outside experience. To be honest I love it. It keeps our dogs calm and safe! Great Job!

Our dog is 13 years old and we have been taking him to Spencerport Country Vet since we got him. At the time, it was convenient since it was near where my dad worked. Over the past 13 years we have received good care, but it was recently when we got the best care…Two and a half months ago, our dog was real sick. He wouldn’t eat/drink, walk, and he was vomiting. He would just sleep in his bed all day. We were terrified that it was his time to go. They got us right in for an appointment. It turned out our dog had ended up having an abscess near his shoulder.Dr. Steve and Lindsay (technician) have taken the best care of our dog. He goes to them with no fear or hesitation. You can feel their compassion and care in what they’re doing. Not only did they make our dog feel better, but they also helped us feel better.Anytime we didn’t know if something was healing right or had a concern, they would get right back to us or get us right in. They were very prompt and efficient. I know Cameryn has answered many calls from me and been a great help too!I don’t normally write reviews for places, but this place, this team, this is something that deserves recognition. They brought our dog back to life and we will forever be grateful for that. There is no one else we would rather have taking care of our dog. Even if it is a drive for us now, we know he is in good hands.Thank you Dr. Steve, Lindsay and staff for all you do. We appreciate you more than you know.
