“The salvation and the workers kept me from starving from non nutritious food at the place I’m staying….. social services doesn’t help people with disabilities and the need for proper housing! I’m looking forward to being a part of this wonderful team to help people who need it and not be abused. What an incredible contribution and community help where nobody else will ever help you”

“I recently visited Aikido of Ramapo Valley to watch a class, I must say I was impressed. The location is a little difficult to find but should be no trouble with directions. Upon arriving I hung up my shoes and took the stairs up to the dojo. The mats are well cleaned and the décor is beautiful. Walking into the dojo for the first time made me question if I was really still in New Jersey. Additionally the facility has a bathroom and a water cooler for anyone to use. Sensei is nice, welcoming and very insightful. Sensei was egger to help his students and has so much passion for Aikido. If you are looking to learn how to be a fighter this dojo is probably not the best fit. However, if you are looking for a peaceful traditional marshal art I would strongly recommend checking out this dojo, I can not stress how nice and welcoming they are here.”

“Very welcoming, down-to-earth community with a fantastic rabbi and a new cantor who brings a lot of energy to the congregation and the religious school program. For those who like to engage in ways other than (or in addition to) services, there is a thriving Nosh & Drash (aka Torah study) every Shabbat morning and plenty of adult education and cultural events throughout the year.”
