I wish I could give No stars. I had my cat shipped here via emirates skycargo and it was a 45-hour flight, and they NEVER fed the cat or refill the water. It clearly says on the crate to refill the cat’s food and water and they never did either one! Extra food and water were provided but they covered it with the documents. BUT EVEN SO, their company allows shipment of live animals, they should’ve known that the cat needs to eat! 45-HOURS OF FLIGHT/LAYOVER and they never thought of feeding the cat or giving it water. The cat was very skinny when we got it from their office in Jamaica NY. UNBELIEVABLE! I want to file a formal complaint against them. And they didn’t even give me back the cat’s original documents, I tried to call their numbers and it says “press 1 for Emirates Sky Cargo” and if you press 1 or any other options, it’ll say “I do not understand your response” and do ir 3x and it just disconnects. INSANE. Worst experience with this company!
Emirates if you’re reading this you better give me
back my cat’s documents! Contact me!

It is not possible to get through and solve problems. I've been calling for three days and no one answers.

While my husband and I absolutely love the Emirates brand and enjoy flying on Emirates for business travel, Emirates Sky Cargo turned out to be a huge disappointment. We spend our lives living in various locales for work, and used this company to ship our stuff to New York. While they shipped our stuff from the Middle East quite quickly (within 1 week), to actually retrieve our stuff took nearly half a day. Their process for claiming the shipment was ridiculously tedious and involved us driving from their office to another office 3 times. Part of our frustration resided in the fact that the clerk who was handling the transaction wasn't competent enough to provide all of the information up front, which led to us wasting a ton of time. In addition, there was only ONE clerk servicing us along with a long line of truck drivers whose shipments were way larger than ours. Part of our own work involves providing business consulting and from our point of view, this cargo company seriously needs to look into its processes if customer service is priority (which it appears it isn't). Once they determined that we had complete paperwork, they then had a system where the one clerk then dealt with each individual order one. at. a. time. The gross inefficiencies of this were beyond alarming. To add insult to injury, we had to pay an additional fee to get our stuff - this was on top of the money we paid to ship our stuff in the first place. Let me be clear - this was not a customs clearance fee, but a random "hey you need to pay to get your stuff" fee disguised as a storage fee. Mind you, we retrieved our shipment the same day they called us to come retrieve it - so why the storage fee? #RipOff Alas, we can't get our money or precious hours back, but at least we learned not to use Emirates Sky Cargo ever again.
