They snuck a perm in my hair!!!! Black women please beware of this place. 4 months later I am still trying to slowly cut off the permanently straight hair they left me with. It's extremely sickening to go to a salon thinking you can trust them to take care of your kinks and curls just for that to be taken advantage of. This salon is clearly JUST for Dominican women. Never again!!!!

Will definitely not be coming here for service ever again. How do you agree on an appointment date and time to come in, and the beautician is not even there to do the client's hair on the scheduled day that you both agreed on? Just lost a customer. Smdh

Followed one of the most consistent Dominican hairdresser to this salon. Rosie has been doing mine and daughter's hair for many years now. She is one of the few hairstylist that is mindful of the health of your hair and does a wonderful job at styling (no burnt hair) The shop itself is unimpressive and upholds the standard for a salon on merrick road in queens. My recommendation is not for the salon itself but for Rosie. Try her, you will not regret it. The wait depends upon when you go. Mornings or late afternoon best times. There is a sign in sheet, make sure to put your name on it upon arrival. Parking available in Dunkin Donut parking lot, or in front of salon on sundays. Accessible by bus. They accept credit cards, but bring cash and avoid card processing fees

I followed my hairdresser ROSIE to this particular salon. Rosie is one of the best Dominican Hair dresser around. She is friendly dependable reliable and truly does a great job handling my hair. She is more on the haircare side however does a phenomenal job blowing and styling my hair. Try her, you'll never leave her!

BURNED! Yes, I said burned, LITERALLY!!! Where do I begin! Smh...I came in for a wash and set, and yes...I have natural thick hair...the stylist talked about the texture of my hair while shampooing not knowing that I too speak Spanish†cursing my hair and telling her coworker that she is not going to roller set it but directly blow dry it...it gets better...she begins to detangle my thick coils with a COMB! I asked her to please use a vent brush or a wet brush and ended up showing her how to brush from the ends up to detangle...fast forward... after blow drying...ends were still frizzy so she asked if I want her to pass the flat iron...I said of course! She proceeded to make phone calls while flat ironing my hair and carelessly burned the side of my face with the 420 degree flat iron! I said you burned my face...her reply, "oh sorry" and kept flat ironing!!! WTH??? As my face continued to burn, I asked her for a cool wet towel to apply to my scorched face and she grabs the towel she used to dry my hair after my shampoo! You can't make this stuff up...I left with my hair smothered in grease. I ended up wrapping it my self and putting back on the WIG that I came with. Total NIGHTMARE!!!!!!
