The pharmacy staff at this Walgreens has a I don’t care attitude when dealing with customers. I have been waiting over a month for my prescription that was put in just to find out that they were missing information from my insurance. No one reached out to me when they were having this issue so I could have it resolved. Once I contacted my insurance and had them provide the needed information they still didn’t put my prescription in and the staff member I spoke to was like oh well they didn’t speak to me. It has been a month that I have been missing this mediation that is very much needed. Once I asked to speak to a supervisor they hung up on me. Very unprofessional and careless at this pharmacy.

I went to grab a card, but didn't have enough time to make my purchase. But I liked what I saw. Clean, organized & there were no lines.

This review is specifically about the Asian pharmacist at this location. I didn’t catch her name, and I want to clarify that my concerns are directed solely at her, not any other staff members. I arrived at the pharmacy at 7:30 PM with my 4-year-old child, who was sitting in the car with a fever. It’s 2025, and I understand that many people may not care about others, but this situation was unacceptable. I waited until about 9 PM, before leaving and then returning at about 9:20pm because my child’s health was my top priority, and I don’t live in the area of this specific pharmacy so it was a must !
By 9 PM, I still hadn’t received any help. I had to get my children out of the car and start the journey home after what had already been a long day with work and school, all before heading to urgent care. Initially, I thought the prescription might have accidentally been sent elsewhere, as time passed, I felt increasingly frustrated.
While I was waiting, family members contacted every Walgreens in the five boroughs for me. At 9:20 PM, a family member informed me that they had spoken with the pharmacist, who assured them the prescription would be ready in 15 minutes, prompting me to make the trip back. Upon my return, the cashier insisted they still could not find it. I was incredulous since I had just received confirmation about the prescription. The pharmacist then appeared, having gone to retrieve her phone, and casually mentioned that she hadn’t completed typing out the prescription like it was nothing. But you went outside to go get your phone? right when I came back to cashier to check if the prescription was received. Too much funny business with her.
After waiting for over two hours, literally crying with tears in my eyes going up to the counter every 20 minutes asking if anything came in yet, I felt completely disregarded. I was the last customer being served in the pharmacy from 7:30-10pm. Not only that My child was suffering, and she prioritized other orders for customers who weren’t even present. The other staff members were clearly aware of the situation, which only added to my frustration. I demanded to know why the prescription, received at 9:07 PM, wasn’t filled immediately since I had been waiting in the store the entire time. I even left my name and number and nobody said anything.
Even with all my frustrations, I tried to maintain my composure. The pharmacist was indifferent and dismissive, showing no regard for what I was experiencing. I left the store, upset not only about the lengthy wait and the lack of care but also because I was handed only one of the two prescriptions I needed. I plan to transfer the second prescription elsewhere and felt that Walgreens needs to do better in our community by hiring staff who genuinely care about their customers. Im sure she wouldn't treat the folks in flushing queens how she does this community.
This experience was unforgettable, and had it not been for my family’s intervention, I would have gone without the antibiotics my child desperately needed. The lack of professionalism from that pharmacist was disheartening, and I hope this serves as an opportunity for improvement. 💔

I don't really leave reviews but because of the help of the technician by the name Ravina, it made me feel so much appreciated heard and at ease. She went her extra miles to help me get my medicine and know what she was talking about, my medication was a different name that I wasn't aware of and she made it so easy to explain everything. I was on the phone for a long hold but she explan to me everything that happened. She always has a smile n pleasant. Even tho she was assisting other technician at the same time, she well managed everyone with ease. I want to thank her for helping me with a discount I had to pay $600 and she help me out with a great discount. Loved her! I went to thank her back but she was gone by 5pm. We need more workers like this. Or have her train the other workers that's rude and Disrespectful. Like they don't Wana work.

It doesn’t matter what day or time you come to the pharmacy, it’s at minimum 20 people in the line. I was mandated by my insurance to come here when I was previously going to a little small local pharmacy for my prescription. Bakers Drugs in St Albans. Lovely place. In and out. Every time. Now I have to come to this God forsaken place.

Rude pregnant girl in the front . If she wasn’t pregnant I surely would’ve cursed her out , they gave me a hard time trying to upload $500 on my cash app . Spent nearly 15 minutes in the store for something that takes 3 minutes max . Store managers were called to the front and still don’t know what they doing .. system kept saying “card can’t be activated “ whole times it’s because they have a limit of $250 ! So I wasted my time , the did not problem solve or find a solution fast . I had to go to dollar tree on linden and farmers . No wonder this Walgreens has security , probably stopping people from altercations with rude staff

For days I was placed on hold for 30 mins to an hour when I called to speak to someone in the pharmacy dept. It's either they need more dtsff or Amazon pharmacy should take over!! I head over and had to wait another 45 mind in a line just to ask a question regarding a prescription.

Literally the worst pharmacy around town. They frequently don't have medications readily available. Trying to contact them via phone is an absolute joke. Prepare to be on hold for at least an hour before speaking to some of the rudest workers. Lines are always wrapped around the back of the store because despite having 3 registers at the pharmacy, they typically only have one in use. The people working here move like snails. Often times taking a ridiculous amount of time to find prescriptions for pick up. This place needs a managerial overhaul.

The Lady in charge of taking the passport pictures had a very rude attitude. All of the sudden she decided not to take any more photos making every one waiting mad. She said she was the manager but I think she should be fired. Unprofessional. It is not our fault that she is having a bad day or a bad life. She’s not capable of doing customer service.

This store is in need of more cashiers in the pharmacy. The store is clearly understaffed since it is only one cashier for the 3 registers in the pharmacy. There is always either a long pharmacy line or a long wait for 2 or 3 people. There should be at least 2 cashiers working due to high volume of people the pharmacy services. I have been to the same drugstore in different neighborhoods and did not experience these issues.

Worst pharmacy ever. I see why the reviews are 2.8. So sad, I moved my prescription from Walgreens on Baisley for the same reason, only to come here and still can't get it. When the line isn't long all the way to corner, something is wrong where you can't pick up. You all need to do better, its really not a good look! I've never used Walgreen's for prescription before. But I will contact my insurance for a list of pharmacy, beside Walgreen's.

This place is terrible with customer service. They don't respect anyone's time and they consistently have long lines because they are understaffed and the staff is not courteous. Avoid under all circumstances except for emergencies.
