Worst nail shop ever and I actually used to go here growing up I don’t know what happened but they are very nasty and rude and rushing especially when you don’t get the powder color. I immediately had to go buy nail polish remover to remove what I just paid for ! Please don’t go there and spend your hard earned money I wish I knew the lady name that did my nails she was being rough with my had and just very disrespectful!

This salon gets 2 thumbs down: first because in spite of my calling to ask, what they offer on their website and what they have posted on their service menu, they DO NOT offer permanent french tip nails. Second because they stopped my service after I explained to them how to service my disabled hand.
I Googled salons, then I called to tell them what I wanted, then I visited them as a walk in. They said the only way to do a full set redo of permanent french nails was to soak off the acrylic, so I told them I get my nails done in los angeles all the time and my technician does my fills in one hour with no issues. If she needed to do a full set redo it took her a bit longer by filling off the old acrylic.
The owner or manager of this salon spoke with the technician in their native language the whole time I was receiving services, that said I am sure they discussed my disability and their unwillingness to take the time to service me properly. The conclusion of that visit was, they serviced my able functioning hand and refused service on my disabled hand, told me they could not work on it, gave me 1/2 service for free and stopped acknowledging me. I only tipped the woman who serviced my able hand with grace and left.
Because of the misinformation on both social media and in person, along with the foul treatment due to my disability, I give this salon THREE THUMBS DOWN.
I no longer live in NYC but as a native New Yorker, I am shocked by the treatment of disabled people in many nail salons in this city!!

I used to go to this nail salon often then stopped for a while, I went three weeks ago to get acrylic tips with royal blue color gel & the male nail tech insisted that I get the color acrylic instead because it “last longer” and that I wouldn’t need to soak it off. Now, I knew it would need to be soaked off but I figured he has a different technique especially since I haven’t been there for a while. Two weeks later I went back to get a filling with French tips and they told me I needed to pay to soak my nails off, I made them aware that I would not pay for that service as the male nail tech told me he could file it down and add a new color. He started yelling at me and called me a liar, they were all so rude. Eventually the manager came in and they all started talking to him in their language.. he had YET to address me, he stared me up and down with the nastiest look I’ve ever received in my life & signal to them with a hand gesture to just soak my nails off.. I finished my service that day and I would NEVER go back. I was so uncomfortable. The girl who ended up doing my nails didn’t so thick even though I kept telling her I don’t like a lot of acrylic, she insisted “it would last longer”
They definitely have one or two good nail techs there but no one else is good, they just care about adding on different services to get more money. their customer service is HORRIBLE and they are all rude. I would not recommend.

This was my first time coming here and I was not disappointed. Nina did an AMAZING job on my pedicure and made my feet feel and look silky smooth. Tony did a PHENOMENAL job on my nails. He talked me into doing ombré and I am so happy I listened to him! My nails came out looking amazing! I will definitely be back!

Horrible . I just left this salon. Charged me 60$ for a fill in and did a terrible paint job and messed up the fill in. For that i could’ve just gotten a new set of nails instead of a fill in. Never again!

They only respect the money they make in urban neighborhoods. Don’t go if you’re looking for a nice self care experience. They act like you walked in to their living room begging for nail services. Gross and Unsanitary.

I've been coming to this nail salon for the past two years, but I won't be coming back. The owner recently opened a new nail salon, and I believe she took all the good nail techs with her. In August I went to Color Rhyme and I got a French gel pedicure and gel manicure. The guy who did my pedicure didn't do a good job. The French was uneven and had to be redone. For my manicure, he barely filed my nails and did not shape them either. Since he seemed new, I didn't pay it too much attention. But, I went back again today and the lady who did my manicure was so rough. She was cutting my cuticles and ended cutting my actual skin around my nails. There was a lot of blood and she tried to hide it. She then tried to put alcohol over the cut and it burned badly. She kept trying to put more alcohol, and I literally had to snatch my hand away to get her to stop. Eventually, I told her to please stop trying to stop the bleeding because she was only making it worse. I definitely won't be coming back here ever again.

THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REFERRING TO PATIENCE & UNDERSTAND IS POOR AND THEY DON'T CARE TO IMPROVE IT, BUT THEY WILL IMPROVE THEIR PRICES. THEY TALK SMACK IN THEIR LANGUAGE ABOUT PEOPLE THE WHOLE SHOP LAUGHS AS IF THATS NOT DISRESPECTFUL ENOUGH. ONE CAN FEEL BULLIED WHEN THEY START CHATTING MESS IN THEIR LANGUAGE. ITS NOT FAIR AND I CANT WAIT TILL THEY CREATE A WONDERFUL TRANSLATORS SO THEY HAVE NO ROOM TO BE DISRESPECTFUL IN ANY LANGUAGE. THEY DO NICE WORK, BUT THEY SPEAK TO THEIR CUSTOMERS RECKLESSLY AND ARE DISMISSVE, IF YOU ASK QUESTIONS OR PRICE CONCERNS. IM TIRED OF THEM TAKING MONEY FROM THE COMMUNITY, BUT THEY TRULY HAVING LITTLE TO NO RESPECT FOR THE URBAN COMMUNITIES THEY "LOVE SERVICEING", ITS A SHAME. DO BETTER OR LEAVE! BLK NAIL TECH NEED TO PLEASW ASSEMBLE QUICKER AND FIGURE OUT THE FORMULA. IM NOT RETURNING TO THIS SPOT OVIOUSLY, LOL SMH
