“The one star reviews are completely off the mark. My family and I have been coming to Hyde Park Animal Hospital for about 4 years now. Whatever the situation, from routine care to heartbreaking end of life care, everyone there has shown compassion and understanding. I have never felt ripped off or overcharged. Both of the veterinarians there are awesome. So are the techs and front desk. We bring our cats, dog, and guinea pigs there.

“Marissa at the desk was very kind. Another man's dog got sick on the floor, he felt bad. She was so gracious, and said don't worry, not the first time, not the last, you're fine! And cleaned it up fast.
The girls who took care of my Harli, were so nice and easy going, they were wonderful with my girl!!

“Rhinebeck Equine is a group of top notch professionals - both the doctors and the office staff! I Love working with them and feel so lucky to have this team available to me and my horses. Dr. Bruce and Dr. Rosenbaum are both incredibly knowledgeable and skilled; and I love that they arrive at my farm with a team of experienced techs to help with my horse's appointments. Both doctors are super patient and compassionate and always take the time to answer all my questions, emails, and texts. The appointment results and instructions are always written down and left for me before they leave. The office staff is amazing, too - anytime I have had to reach out to them they have always been so kind and helpful and they answer all my questions with warmth and patience. Lastly, their pricing is both fair and reasonable. They really have their act together and I could not be more pleased with the care they have provided to my horses.”
“My cat has had two emergencies in less than a week, and I have been absolutely heartbroken and beside myself. Watching her go through so much has been one of the hardest things I’ve experienced, but the staff has been a source of comfort during such a scary time.
Everyone has been so kind, compassionate, and understanding. They have gone above and beyond to make my cat feel better and to reassure me when I was overwhelmed and worried. “Like going to the doctor yourself it can be an anxiety filled trip but they make me feel calm and safe leaving my Cat with them. They are very gentle with pets and communicate everything to pet owners. My father also brings his cats here and highly recommended them and now I do as well.”

“I personally would like to thank Dr. Alden for taking our golden retriever Bear as her client. I spent thousands of dollars at another veterinarian office locally and when my dog had a problem they could not see him. He’s a larger dog and when he woke up in the morning, he could not walk on one of his legs. I called our veterinarian and their respond was they couldn’t see him that day, they were too booked up. Right away I started calling veterinarian offices and called Kingston Animal Hospital. Thank you very much Dr. Alden for seeing bear and taking care of him that day. It was something very simple. He just had an abscess inside of his paw. I’ve had a few emergencies with our dog and Dr. Alden has always been there for me. I will never use another veterinarian. I highly recommend Dr Alden. I would give her 10 stars if I could.Sue”

“This vet was absolutely amazing. My dog was having a severe pancreatitis attack (which they diagnosed, I had no idea!) and they look such amazing care of him. Everyone was attentive, gave constant updates, and I felt so comfortable when he had to be hospitalized there. I was also so scared to see the price, and the bill was extremely reasonable and affordable for the care he received. I will definitely be coming back if I have another pet emergency.”

“Lovely people, great service, accommodating, and kind. I am from out of state and had a possible emergency situation concerning my two dogs and could not find an emergency Vet close enough for a possible fast-acting toxic emergency. They took us in without a hitch and charged us the most reasonable price I've ever had at a veterinarian. Not only that, but both of my dogs absolutely loved everyone there, and one of them is usually scared of the Vet. I can't thank them enough!”
