Worse of the worse customer service have been experienced. Banker Larissa Kim refused to help even through we have appointment! She is totally rude and unprofessional. I would give 0 stars if I would.

I will never come back. Larisa didn't even try to help you solve your problem... The manager didn't even touch your phone without your permission. But when I saw their rating on Google I understood. Never come back again

This branch is full of incompetent workers who struggle to do their jobs correctly. In particular, Scott seems clueless about everything. He has no idea how to open an account, return calls, or provide any kind of feedback. Additionally, the manager shows neither the knowledge nor the concern necessary to resolve issues that arise at this bank. I strongly suggest going to another branch like the Bay Street location.

I am in need of assistance. After patronizing two Staten Island branches, including this one, they have lost sensitive documents several times. Please refer me to a branch that is PROFESSIONAL Thank you. Zero stars.

Heat is too high. Only two tellers working with three sitting at the window. 6 on the line and no movement. More tellers are needed. Or maybe get someone up from the desks.

The staff here are incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and always go the extra mile to assist with any banking needs. Whether it's a simple transaction or more complex financial advice, they handle it all with professionalism and efficiency. The branch itself is well-maintained, creating a welcoming environment for customers. I particularly appreciate their commitment to customer satisfaction and the way they prioritize making every interaction a positive one. If you're looking for a bank that values its customers and delivers exceptional service, look no further than this Citi Bank branch in Staten Island.

Dealing with the Citibank representatives and work culture.I recently went to this bank location with my father and my brother. We went in order to repair and administrative error in our joint account. It so happened that Pop was the first signatory on the account and we needed to bring him with us. He was in very bad health, but we needed to drag him over to the bank. When we went in, we made the mistake of not making an appointment so as usual with smaller Citi customers, they are kept waiting a long time. Nevertheless, we eventually got to see a Spanish speaking representative who was very rude. As soon as we sat down with her, she saw two elderly men with an even older man - their father. She acted like we were up to something. Apparently, she could not tell that we were this man's sons. We did not get far because as soon as we presented her with documents, she said she did not need to see them. I then showed her my SSI card she quickly rejected it without further assist even though we had other documentation and had Pop there with us. She found a technicality in not accepting my SSI card because it was laminated. As we were trying to translate the situation for Pop, she mumbles, "I speak Spanish too, you know." . She would not go any further with us. Two weeks later my father passed away. That unnecessarily complicates the problem. We've been trying to repair this problem by going to a couple of other branches and they have not been helpful with this problem or understand what the problem is because they are not willing to use their common sense. We will take our father's death certificate next time and see what their story is. And, if we get this resolved we will take our asset to another bank. So, basically, this is typical of a large banking institution that is not geared to assisting the small, non-commercial customer. They will tell you that they are protecting your asset by being sort of obtuse with their smaller customers, but a bit of public relation, common sense would go a long way. You cannot just depend on your nice sounding name to attract smaller customers and then not pay serious attention to them.
