scammers crooks on the take when your with a bank for forty years and at a time of uncertainty that bank turns its back on you and all these years they instill that they are not just your bank but your neighbor friend and if theres anything you that you need you can turn to them and over those forty years your a model client car loans, credit cards, lines of credit with substantial credit lines paid off car loans along comes a world catastrophe (covid)and all of a sudden you lost a good friend even though you followed all the rules paying off car loans credit lines paying your credit card bills on time or sooner and always more than the minimum never late or missed payments no calling and asking for assistance when the pandemic struck yet they were a victim of what comes down to as credit discrimination if they had a line of credit for fifty thousand dollars and a credit utilization of just ten percent citi-bank reduced his credit line ninety percent taking all of his available credit away without prior notice which legally they can buy must notify the client with in forty five days any changes to apr credit reduction or closure must be given forty five days notice now this innocent mans credit score drops like a rock bring the attention of other banks who in turn start the same process causing further damage to the credit health and score of this man who did nothing wrong but having a excellent credit score a lot of available credit which was all taken away causing so much harm that if his family was in a situation where there hot water heater needed replacing and the cost of that world be paid with a credit card he now no longer has that opportunity so what choice do they have its cold outside the family needs hot water to shower they have to turn to their savings and this goes on till their savings starts to run dry now they have to dip into their retirement before they know what happened there backed up on their bills and mortgage all the while trying to get someone to listen to whats happening but gets turned from one agency to another with no help what so ever and the icing on the cake is the ceo's and top bank executives are making millions of dolars salary and to add insult to injury when the financial crisis hit and all these institutions are facing bankruptcy who is there to bail them out its the american people alongside this poor man and his family goes to show how america works

Citibank in 445 Forest Ave SI,Ny 10310 has a young man Michael Shenouda who helped me opened my account he is so young and so professional caring and truly impressed me with his customer service ethic, rare nowadays and Shinnie Macwon the manager went out of her way for me I did not have an appt and after days of going back and forth to a few Citibank locations because I’m a new employee and the check was not registered and I didn’t have an account so she knew I was struggling in the verge of tears because that Saturday morning was the only chance I had to open account she immediately took care of the teller stand and had Michael help me. I finally opened my account now I can get direct deposit and it will make my life easier especially being out of work for a while, Thank you for your professionalism and the old way of helping customers with humanity understanding and sacrifices to help someone who really needed immediate help appointment or not ❤️

Worst banking experience, somehow it is the customers fault the office can’t manage appointments in a common sense way. Walk in with an appointment and I’m told by teller “we’re booked you need to come tomorrow”. Upon question how this happens, why it happens and why it’s not fixed the teller asks “are you done”. Meanwhile the person who I had the appointment with is sitting behind the counter chatting. Staten Island manager doesn’t seem much better, can’t even get him on the phone and no messages returned.

Don't let a loved one have a CitiBank checking account. If they've made that mistake, tell them to close it out. ASAP. Since my family member passed away going on a year ago, CitiBank has made it impossible to touch his checking account. Woops, you need to come back and sign something else. This after I had sat there, testamentary letter in hand (special trip #2, since they can't do ANYTHING remotely), as the manager told me the money was (finally) transferred to an estate account that it took us an hour to set up. The manager even mailed me brand-new checks to pay estate bills from that estate account. They all bounced - what? No money in the estate acct? Impossible. It must be a spam call. No? Not spam? I call and the branch manager says I have to drive back - for the 3rd time, 12 hours - to sign one place he missed - to fix their screw up when I was right there. Or, they say, maybe drive 6 hours to the branch closest to where you live to sign your name? Can't do a damn thing remotely - living in the dark ages. #thankyoufornothing 445 Forest Ave, Staten Island, NY.

Great staff. Unfortunately short staffed and lines can get long but they get the job done and they are very kind.

This is the best place from all the CitiBank I've been to. Manager Mr. Brown is absolutely professional and helpful. Even if I was late he had time to solve my problem. Everybody are nice and helpful. I was surprised because I was in two different branch before and nobody hadn’t time. I really recommend this place. If you need to go to CitiBank on Staten Island, just go. Don’t loose your time in other CitiBank on HylanBlvd or Bay St.

I went into this branch to find out about their personal loans. The personal banker, Elaine Wong, was available immediately and was very pleasant. Although Citibank doesn't offer personal loans to non customers I was please with the customer service and Elaine also made a few suggestions.

This Citibank is terrible. Every time I go there to pay my credit card bill there is a problem. First they told me they don't take cash to pay credit card bills unless I have a checking account with them. Then the teller asked me if I have a job. I said what does that have to do with anything. I'm not trying to withdraw money or even deposit money. I just wanted to pay off my credit card balance. Thank GOD I don't have any other accounts with them. Today I went in to pay of my credit card bill again. And again there was a problem. Today I was told I can't use a debit card to pay my bill. The teller told me to go to the ATM to with draw the money to pay my bill. Finally they accepted a check to pay off the full balance. After this I am cancelling this card. It's a damn headache.
