I wasted time going to two Safeways yesterday only for both of their Coinstars to be out of order. Had to get my cash from customer service. Never had any problem with Coinstar before so I am disappointed and in the future hope you can inform people when your machines are down.

just used one of the machines , had over 50 dollars in charge it stopped counting at 16 91 and screen said " your coins are safe contact a store employee " .. after standing there an hour and the store manager calling coin star REPEATEDLY to no avail I lost 30 dollars ..

The machine didnt count my coins right , so now they are suppose to send me a check for the difference , minus another fee. After their machine took my money and then take forever to get it back they charge me more money to get my money back. What is wrong this company,!!! Thieves is what they are! Never again. **Update** As can be seen below Coinstar contacted me about my problem. They were very gracious and professional, and rectified the situation. I appreciate their customer service folks and I have modified my rating. Personally, I do believe they have more to improve, their response was nothing more than amazing. In short, they made sure I received the full amount of the coins I deposited as an Amazon eGiftCard, which is what I wanted I'm the first place. Cudos to your team.
