I am truly dissatisfied with my experience, renting a vehicle from enterprise on Richmond Terrace. This was my first time renting a vehicle through this company and the vehicle smelled like DRUGS. Let me rewind the African-American worker with glasses asked me what type of vehicle was. I looking to rent and I replied a SUV. He then takes me straight to this Hyundai and the windows were down. I asked why were the windows down in this type of weather, but the subject got changed. Honestly, I should have listened to my first instant, but I didn’t. A couple of minutes into our conversation I brought it up again, but once again the question was never answered. At this point I just wanted to leave I got in the vehicle For about 20 seconds and with The windows down it smelled like outside. On the drive home, I left the windows down, not thinking anything of it. But the next day when I got in the car, it smelled like weed. I personally do not smoke and the smell was horrendous. It was so bad my boss was questioning me, and I had to reassure her that I do not smoke or take any type of DRUGS. For days, I was cleaning the seats as well as the floor to try to get the smell out. I did not want them to think that it was me smoking even though I knew deep down inside they knew the car smelled like weed. It is truly ridiculous that they would allow someone to rent a vehicle, knowing it smelt like DRUGS. If I am ever to rent a vehicle from enterprise, it will definitely not be from this location. When I did get back to the site and returned the vehicle, I explained to one of the employees, my concerns and what I endured for that week and he gave me $45 off my rental. He did let me know that next time I should call and they would switched out the car.
Please don’t get me started with the safety features on that car as well. I almost got rear ended three times because the car decided to stop in the middle of traffic. Wherever they got that car from they need to return it or sell it to the highest bidder.

Very dissatisfied with my experience. I rented a 8 passenger vehicle from Staten Island location 5 days prior. I went to pick up the vehicle and it was t available. The manager was able to secure me a vehicle but in Brooklyn. I had to drive the next morning to pick it up the day of a funeral which is why I rent the vehicle. I was forced to pay tolls both ways, to pick up the vehicle and then again to go to New Jersey by coming back through Staten Island. Not only was the Chevy Suburban dirty on the outside it wasn’t vacuumed well on the inside. Probably will not rent again from Enterprise.

As long as you show up in person you’re good. If you try calling them for anything it’s horrendous. Apparently nobody answers the phone

Friendly staff, but terrible choice of cars, the lot was empty, the credit owed was less then what they charged me and made up some dumb reason why I got less credit back. In gmhold for 39min for a pick up at a mechanic shop as part of an insurance perk, never showed up

If you want to keep your Sanity, please, please, please DO NOT rent from them. First off, the customer service is horrible I was there for 2 hrs waiting to get a vehicle. The vehicle I requested ( Suburban) because I am very tall was all reserved for people little above 5 feet. They kept trying to push me into a minivan, then wanted me to get into a Nissan that was so filthy that by me looking at it I felt like something was crawling on me. Wound up having to walk 2.3 miles back to my house.
DO NOT GO THERE YOU'RE BETTER OFF GOING TO THE ONE ON BAY ST. BETTER SELECTION AND CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ON POINT!

I reserved my car a week in advance to be told when I arrived its first come, first serve. I was told that although you request a car online there is no guarantee it will be there when you want to pick it up. I spent four hours in this place . I recommend picking up your car a day before if you have plans to travel. I had to switch my car out because the gave me a car with a slow leak in the tire. Luckily, I was leaving the next day so I was able to notice the tire was losing air.

Definitely the most busy Enterprise on the Island. Lots of staff. Lots of cars. Things run very smoothly. A bigger lot would make it easier to pull in and out but you can't have everything.

They work with you but if you're renting a car using a different state driver's license then you MUST pay with a C.C. whose ever name is on the card has to be the renter. Other than that, they have the best cars available. $100 cheaper to rent on weekends.
