Our fireplace was from the 70’s and was in some serious need of a new surround and doors. Mike and his team did an excellent excellent job of transforming this into a really nice focal point in our living room.

Mike sold me a $9000 fireplace that makes obnoxious. Loud banging noises as it runs. We called him and he never called us back. Took our money and ran. I dont recommend him! Where are you Mike?

Very poorly run company. The only prompt communication was when it was time to collect money. Even that wasn’t smooth as I was questioned about $1000 cash payment that wasn’t recorded (luckily we have Ring to prove Mike came to the house). The invoice changed a few times and we were billed for items that were not used or needed. Outside of that, be prepared to have to stay on top of them through the entire process to make sure the job is completed. Disjointed internal communication, misinformation when you do speak to someone, and customer service at it’s worst. Over 1 year just to install doors and service an existing fireplace, just in time for Spring/Summer. Ebon, the technician, was professional, knowledgeable, and very helpful. I’m not one toleave bad reviews either. This company is the ultimate money grab and disappear. You’ve been warned.

I called this company three times for a new firplace install and three times they promised that someone will call the next day no one ever calledDon.t waste your time with them if thats what they do to a new potential business imagine what would they do if you ever need their service

Wanted a good outcome as I read the reviews..... but at the end just like the rest ....pay me for my service call and good luck with your problem did not provide solution or possible repair option ..look elsewhere before this place....poor communication

Only facts: I was looking for a company to fix or replace my fireplace and called this company. I was told that I have to pay for the inspection and If I decide to hire them after that, then inspection's fee would be included in the final price. I agreed. On February 6, 2021, their representative came and looked at the fireplace, said he can do it and someone from the company will contact me to schedule an appointment so they will do the job. I cut the check in the amount of $ 212.31 (inspection's fee) and started to wait for the phone call. One week passed - no phone call. I tried to call them myself - no responses, phone calls went to their voicemail. Left several messages - no response. After approximately 2 weeks I contacted their representative, who came to inspect the fireplace and who gave me his business card with cell phone. I was told that everything is ok and someone is supposed to call me soon and they didn't pick up the phone simply just because their secretary stepped out for a minute :) :). After that I tried several more times to reach them with no success, and I gave up. My check wasn't cashed so I was fine thinking they just simply have some troubles like some other business and have the decency not charging me for breaking an agreement. However, on March 22, 2021 I noticed that my check was cashed. No phone calls or any other attempts to talk to me re. finishing their job. By that time I found the other guy who agreed to fix my fireplace and he's in a process now. So, if you want to donate your money to this company then do it.

My personal experience with this company was horrible. I would like to make everyone aware of the scheme the owner Mike is up to. When i first called to find out if they work on fireplace inserts he was all nice and kind. He then sends out a tech and charges $200.00 plus to come out for a consultation. His scheme is that he tells you the money could be used for the work that will be done if he does the work. I waited 2 months for a call back for a fireplace insert. After multiple attempts calling and leaving emails and voicemails, i got the owner Mike on the phone . He had no idea who i was and completely denied he ever received any of my emails with my picture and measurements his own tech took for my fireplace. AT THIS POINT MY CHECK WAS CASHED. As the owner of Hot Concepts Fireplaces he became very irate on the phone yelling and screaming when i called to find out the status of my insert. I was shocked by his behavior being that he owns and operates this business. When i asked for my money back he told me he was not going to return anything and hung up the phone. He never had any intentions to come back and do the work once he cashed my check. This company is money hungry and a complete Scam do not use them. I hope enough people read this and it was well worth the $200.

Had a great experience with Hot Concepts. I really didn’t know what I was looking for, and was helped with an uncanny amount of patience by their team after I had a million questions. Install was smooth and techs were careful and courteous in my home. Even brought treats for my dog I had mentioned while looking at their showroom. After install, received a follow up call to make sure everything was working smoothly and make sure I was happy. Great service. Highly recommend.

Hot Concepts is the best! I wish I could give them 10 stars. They provided me with all the information I needed for changing my wood fireplace to gas. They had the best prices and dealing with Mike was a pleasure. He and his technicians were very friendly and worked hard. All my questions were answered and the work was complete in a timely manner. Highly recommend!!

Looking at some of these reviews I really don’t know what these people are talking about. My family and I had a very professional and knowledgeable experience with Hot Concepts. From the workers at the store to the management and the installers all were courteous and a pleasure to work with. I especially wanna thank Mike for all his help throughout the entire purchase and installation. It’s a family business and they make you feel like you’re apart of it by the importance they place on their customers. Thank you so much guys I will def recommend to anyone who asks.
