************* Bought ****** (or so I thought) tower for $1,197. Within 2 months, completely crapped out. Wouldn't turn on. Had ****** specialist come in and could not fix it. ****** was going to replace the computer but when I provided them with the sales receipt from the amazon seller, was told the sales receipt did not match the computer. So yes, they do change out hard drives and you are not getting what you paid for. Amazon seller wants me to return for a refund but I cannot turn it on to wipe the hard drive and am not comfortable sending it with my personal information as I do not trust this seller.

I recommend that you do not use this company. I purchased a refurbished computer from this company through Amazon. After about 5 months, the SSD died and I lost all my information that had not already been backed up. The computer was under their 12 month warranty so their tech person gave me an RMA and shipping label. I sent the computer in without the hard drive because I didn't feel comfortable sending a hard drive full of my personal information. The company simply sent the computer back without installing a new hard drive. They didn't call or email to let me know what they were doing. When I called the tech again (Lex), he said I should send the defective hard drive and they would replace it. But he would not send me a shipping label. I had to send the hard drive at my own cost. I sent the hard drive with the RMA number and instructions using regular US mail. The box had a return address. I did not buy a tracking number. When I talked to Lex 2 more times, he said they did not receive the defective hard drive. He said there is nothing they will do. They will not send a replacement hard drive. The representative for this company knows that the computer was defective or I would not have taken the time to ship it to them. I've been without a computer for over 3 months. It would have been easy for them to replace the drive with a new drive. I paid over $700 for a computer that they would not fix under their warranty. This is not a company you would want to give your business.

iCompNY changes computer operating systems with Dell computers they sell voiding the warranties. Customer service is non-existent. They won't return calls AND THEY ARE RUDE. They tell you one thing and do another. BUYER BEWARE.

Dell told us that the company changes Dell's Thin Operating System to Windows 10 which voids warranties with Dell. We called to get computer returned and they sent us a return label, told us we'd get a refund then sent us another computer. I've called several times. The first time I was told that someone would call me back. Called several days later and was hung up on by Zack in tech support, told no supervisor could help me then told they'd have a supervisor call me. I would NEVER recommend them.

I love this company! I bought a nice computer from them last year, had a small issue recently with a port on the machine's back, and they immediately helped me resolve it, generously, kindly and quickly; I will definitely shop with them again if I need equipment.Highly recommended!

I ordered this PC 3 weeks before Christmas. It never showed up and the seller marked it as delivered. Both the seller and Newegg have been no help to get this resolved. So I am still being billed for an item that I never received. All I can say is BUYER BEWARE!
