Ok- I’m not a huge reviewer in writing but my experience merits a review. The Forest Ave branch is of exceptional customer service! I dealt with both Nicholas and Deshawn who were extremely patient, helpful and most importantly professional. I was there for a car loan, went through some hiccups unrelated to MCU but the dealer itself, however, MCU and staff were superb in making sure my loan and documentation was complete. The wait time was not even as long as it used to be. Furthermore, the branch manager Kang Lee was as hands on as the rest of them, which was very nice to see. I highly recommend this Forest Ave branch to my friends and family.

Deshawn johnson at the 1756 Forest avenue staten island branch is a true gentleman, knowledgeable, patient and courteous a true asset to the company and community makes enjoy banking .

I came to this branch after being pre-approved for a auto loan to get the check and it was a horrible experience. Worst part was dealing with Aneshya Overton, when first meeting her I could tell she was not very friendly but it got worse as I learned she was also incompetent. She refused to give me the check saying the dealership was not a franchise I told her it's a BMW dealership but she still refused so after I left and was already in New Jersey I called mcu and they told me it was indeed a franchise dealership so I then had to go back and had to wait after 3 people when I should have been taken right away as it was her ignorance that forced this situation but didn't work out that way, then it took all day to finally get that check because i had to provide documents I had already given in since I was pre-approved. And she couldn't even come over to me to apologize for her mistakes. Horrible Branch will never go there again, only decent employee there is DeShawn who was finally able to help me.

Kang Lee is excellent. I wouldn’t go to anyone else for help. His courteous and compassion as well as his genuine human decency made my day. I highly recommend asking for him to handle any problem.

Don't bank there. They are as inefficient bicycle ride to the moon. The customer service .staff should be on comedy central. Because the are a very bad joke. How can a staff
have a negative -100 on an IQ test. I think that the CFO is a FO. His a Lemming, just run them off a cliff.

Five stars are not enough to describe my interaction with the assistant manager Judy DeForest at the Forest Avenue branch. She was very knowledgeable as she guided me through the issue with my account. She was very caring and kind throughout the duration of our meeting. She also informed me of services and programs that I was not aware MCU offered. I would highly recommend MCU, especially if all of their employees are as kind and hardworking as Judy!

I’ve only experienced excellent service at MCU . Especially today with Diane Kim she answered all my questions in a warm and professional way. She encouraged me to address any concerns I had and went right to work to address and when needed resolved all issues. I left the office feeling completely seen and knowing my money is safe.

I recently sat down with Nicholas at the Forest Avenue branch and had a wonderful experience. He informed me of the many services MCU has to offer, such as the great rates on the CD that I opened with him. He is very knowledgeable and I appreciated all of his help.
