Don’t recommend this shop. Took my Truck to get my bumper fixed. I paid in advance. They told me the car would be ready the next day When I called they told me they would call med back and never called me back. The truck wasn’t ready till three days later. When I picked up the truck they painted half the bumper when the agreement was for the entire bumper. If you want to drive around with a bumper half painted go to preferred auto.

I had a fantastic experience with Preferred Auto Body. Anthony and their team were incredibly professional and efficient. They even accommodated my crazy schedule, making the entire process seamless. From start to finish, they provided exceptional service and did a thorough job. I highly recommend them for anyone in need of work on your vehicle.

WORK: (1) Car dent & paint repair to the fender and (2) replacement of foggy headlight.
PROS:
1. BEST CAR BODY PAINT JOB I EVER RECEIVED - The owner, Anthony Cecala, said he had plenty of experience matching the unusual orange color of my car. As promised, the color matched perfectly with the hood, fender and body even though my hood’s paint was sun faded. I could not tell the difference between the 3 colors. I was offered the left over paint after the job was completed.
2. VERY REASONABLE PRICING - I got 3 estimates from 3 auto body shops in the same area. I loved all three places. However, one place gave triple the price. Preferred Auto Body and another place gave the same low price, but Preferred Auto Body threw a few extras in making it the cheapest price for the service… and the biggest bang for the buck!
3. CONSCIENTIOUS OF PEOPLE’S DIFFERENT FINANCIAL SITUATIONS - In order to fix my foggy headlight, I needed a part to be ordered. The owner, without being asked, gave me three price options - (1) low-cost (used part), (2) moderate (after-market part) and (3) expensive (brand new). He explained the pros & cons of each option.
4. PROFESSIONAL - Offers formal printout of parts, services and costs beforehand and the owner sticks to his word. No surprise costs!
5. QUICK TURNAROUND - The work was always completed earlier than the deadline given and, one time, they made an exception for an emergency turnaround.
6. PREMIER CUSTOMER SERVICE - I have always been treated with great care at the office, always being offered and served tea/coffee while I wait to speak with someone. The workers are always patient and take the time to answer all my questions and concerns. With no financial benefit to himself, the owner regularly gave advice on how I could fix/improve other parts of my car myself. He also gave suggestions of places I could go to fix my car for low-cost.
CONS:
It took me three tries to eventually get an estimate because the owner was out doing favors for customers who were without transportation. Please call before you go! However, I believe it is well worth the persistence/wait to get in contact with this business because the work and customer service is truly exceptional!
SUMMARY: Preferred Auto Body offers superior workmanship, integrity, efficiency, affordable pricing and premier customer service.

Anthony is truly a gem when it comes to vehicle care. He works wonders in restoring vehicles to their former glory. My BMW, which was previously looking worn out due to rust, now shines like a brand new car thanks to his expertise. Anthony skillfully tended to my fender and bumper, performing a flawless restoration and replacement. The minor scratches from rocks on the highway are now almost invisible, a testament to his meticulous work. The clear coat he applied gives my car a fresh-off-the-lot appearance. I was referred to Anthony by a friend and also by Angel's Auto Glass, with promises that he would take excellent care of my car - and he absolutely did. Although the service may take some time, the quality of work Anthony delivers makes every minute of the wait worthwhile. I am grateful for his outstanding service and will certainly return to him for any future car issues. Thank you, Anthony!

Let me start off by saying that I have lots of experience in regard to autobody shops.With that being said, I am a fairly ruthlessly honest in my reviews with ZERO BIAS. I will start off by saying that I called Anthony, the owner/operator of this family business, in a pinch. I happen to damage a rim on an extremely expensive vehicle on vacation (I live in Florida) I was borrowing and needed it to be fixed with very short notice ( 24 hrs). I called a couple of other shops, but they quoted me three times the amount on average for repair and minimum 3 days to do it. Luckily, I stumbled across preferred auto body, and I couldn’t have been happier with the results. Anthony was kind, knowledgeable, and Extremely professional. A true master of his craft, but most importantly he was honest and trustworthy. If you’re looking for an autobody shop in Staten Island, Give your business to this guy. Not only will you get a phenomenal Finished product, you will get treated with respect and with fairness. Not only did he charge less than his competitors. He also completed the job faster than his competitors. That’s something I have never experienced before. From South Florida I say Thanks again, Anthony!

This place was awesome. Anthony took care of my car basically over night. I needed to replace two pieces on my passenger side of my suburu. Came in, ordered the parts, fixed the very next day. I have to return my leased car to the factory next week. I went to see Anthony the owner of Preferred Auto Repair referred by my mechanic. I met with the owner Anthony and told him what needs to be repaired and asked for his advice on how to minimize the cost. The rear passenger door and the bumper of my car were hit. The minute I spoke with Anthony I knew that I can trust him and my car will come back beautiful. I also mentioned that time is against me due to my work. He assured me that it will be fixed on time. He even proposes to drop off my car at my house if I do not have a ride. I went to pick up my car yesterday, the quality of his work cannot justify and it was done in no time. The bill was a fraction of what the BMW factory would charge me. FYI: I was working in the car business for 10 years and that was 10 years ago and I know how Cut Throat and Rip Off when dealing with car repairs!!! I would recommend this auto body shop to anyone I know. Thanks again Anthony for your professionalism and your help!Regards,

I do not write reviews often but Anthony was so awesome, I needed to write this. Hopefully, Nothing happens in the future but if it does I will definitely bring my car and let anyone else know to bring their car here as well. His shop is meticulous he is honest, sincere and I believe really loves what he does. takes care of our cars like they're his own. Thanks Anthony for everything!
