I have been a member for 5 years now in the last year or so it has been declining. Who ever is in charge of cleaning has not been doing there job. It's always dirty. If it wasnt for that I would give it a better review. If it doesn't change I will be looking elsewhere for my workouts.

Needs improvement. One of the pros is that they usually have sanitary wipes throughout the gym. They have obnoxiously loud music playing in the club. 11/14/18 its still too loud. 7/6/23 its still has very loud obnoxious music playing and the machines have grime on them. The exercise room floor is always dirty and the mats are filthy, they have never once been sanitized. They charge a annual maintenance charge on top of the membership cost. Its very crowded. There are only three flat benches. I've alerted the front desk multiple times about the volume of the music both in the locker room and main gym and what I get is attitude!

Had a bad experience with this club twice. At the reception are unprofessional children who can not solve anything. Each shift at the reception has its own rules. Very unprofessional staff.

I came here to avoid the hangout at Veterans Rd and because it’s NEVER clean in the VIP room. It’s worse. The main reason I started coming here was for the sauna and the sauna is filthy because people go in fully clothed with their dirty sneakers on. There’s a sign on the door that obviously does nothing. They dump bottles of water on the stones that are guaranteed to break the heating element. Put a worker in there. I pay fees for that room to be clean and for rules to be enforced. Crunch sounding pretty good right now because Retro on SI is going to be horrible this summer with all the kids hanging out in there instead of working out. Feel like these gyms need at least one adult behind the counter instead of rotating 22 year old kids that don’t care.

This gym is the new Rollerjam teen club hangout spot, if you need a afterschool program for your child this is the place. TikTok infused trendy-wendys constantly recording their routines, I don’t think anyone who works here is even older than 20. Almost every machine is broken every other day from kids slamming weights down, nothing ever gets fixed. I had to literally buy my own handles and bring them with me. Long story short, if you like standing around and waiting 30plus minutes for machines/weights to open definitely come here. Everyone has zero gym etiquette let alone any consideration. LA Fitness is the way for sure.

I took a friend with me to a Zumba class Saturday morning and I had so much fun. It was my first class and I had no idea what to expect. The instructor was great ! I highly recommend Zumba for a full body workout.

I moved from Brooklyn to Staten Island and was looking for class with class. Wow!!! This gym is gem! Gym is big, clean and a lot of equipment. Also there are amazing amazing class! I usually take Lulu’s class and it is just amazing! She teaches Zumba and weightlifting. She is really amazing instructor. Thank you ?

I've been to many gyms over the years from Planet, to Dolphin, to synergy, to LA and even Crunch. This is my favorite by far especially the Hylan location! The staff is great the instructors Lulu and Eddie are Phenomenal and the equipment is solid. If you're looking for a great gym that has a bit of everything this is definitely the gym for you!

I Love this Gym,I worked here but i only worked one day cause i could only work 24 hours,I can't do more than 24 or 25 hours but everything else i love this GymThe Only Thing i dont like is that the Lockers are Small,Compared to the Other Gyms I've been to

Old men aggressively stare and harass young women and girls everyday. Especially the guy Paul and the man who wears a white polo shirt all the time. Many girls have complained and NOTHING is ever done about it because these old men are friends with the owners. Everyday young women are subjected to feeling uncomfortable and having to pretend to be nice to these men when we just want them to leave us alone.

The staff is very friendly and looks like they enjoy being at work. The other members for the most part are courteous and wipe down the equipment after and strip the weight.
