This place is an incredible shop. They carry all sorts of quality gear. The owner Tariq was awesome and it’s no wonder the shop has been here successfully for over 10 years under his leadership . I love how fair they are with the sneaker releases, very old school way of taking care of actual sneakerheads and spreading the love locally instead of catering to loser resellers. I drove over from Brooklyn to get sbs and noticed a great selection of t shirts and hats as well. The prices are very reasonable too! Support the shop because this place is very good for the neighborhood, always giving back.

Been shopping at Richmond Hood for many years. Tariq, the owner, is the man and has blessed me with many beautiful pairs of dunks over the years due to my rewards points that I still own (and many of which i am afraid to heavily wear) to this day!!Support local business ??

I swear on everything I love this place is a rip off this place is a fraud. I ordered a T-shirt two months ago never received it trying to contact them every day for 60 days. No response at all. I tried and tried and tried at the end. I had to report fraud in my card so I could get my money back.I never experienced anything like this in my whole life and I am almost 40 this place will go out of business very soon. I bet you.

This place is an awesome shop that carries some high quality and creative gear. I love the eclectic selection of hats and clothes. The owner Tariq was a really great dude and made me feel welcome. I drove over from Jersey to get some hats and it was worth the trip. The prices are very reasonable for a boutique like this. Support this local business!

Never seems to be open. Have tried on multiple occasions during their posted store hours over the last month (July/August 2022.) Does say on 'maps' they have 12pm in-store hours (stopped by between 1-3pm a few days over severalattempts.) Hope they're okay, but no notice in the windows as to a reason for being closed.

Traveled all the way from Jersey and the store is closed on a Thursday... update your hours on the website so people don't waste time and money to come to the store

Tbh I’m surprised this is even considered a skate shop in Staten Island. Nike Sb Dunks don’t ever think you will see them. They raffle 10 sneakers once a year. 4-5 pairs total of each shoe to the public. Sell the rest however they sell it to support the “small business”.This store is mostly a friend's and family store. Compared to all NYC top skateshops LABOR KCDC LICK. Richmond hood stands no chance. I salute LABOR KCDC & LICK for their integrity, honest raffles and great selection. This skateshop sucks. Either they sell the shoes in a package for $700 which includes merch and the shoes or a local raffle once a year that honestly only skaters win and only raffling 10% of their stock . Nike should take their contract away because it’s insane how much they get away with. They always have messages about helping the community. Start with integrity honesty and no funny buisness. Thanks.
