The Salvation Army Thrift Store & Donation Center in Grasmere, Staten Island is a very busy store where people get clothes, household items, and furniture at reasonable and good prices, which is a real help during difficult economic and tough times. The staff and managers are super helpful, knowledgeable, and courteous, showing great professionalism. Donating items is a good experience with a seamless drop-off, and workers are very helpful in providing a charity donation slip or tax receipt. The proceeds fund Adult Rehabilitation Centers. While some note that prices are going up, it remains a favorite store for many where people always find at least one thing to buy. The store is described as a find and is commended for its hard work in helping Staten Islanders.

This is the most depressing salvation army I've seen. However, I did see some nice items of clothing and manage to find a item worth purchasing.
But the store needs revamping, perhaps a good cleaning.

Great to donate! Please no toys or broken electronics. Families in need should visit the store.
