Last Friday was the last straw for me...I usually deposit cash for an elderly relative and i was informed that I can no longer deposit funds into the account so we moved right over to TD Bank. I don't know the reasons for the new policy but I just took my business elsewhere. I never liked the bank the drive thru is super inefficient and outdated. I wouldn't start anything new with them.

Can’t go into the bank to make change or to deposit a check waited in the drive through and was told I can’t walk up every other bank is open and running this is the last time I’ll ever do business with such a poor bank

I walked in off the street, frantic to find a notary for a document that had to be turned in that night. I walked in not ever being in this bank before. A gentlemen behind the tellers area immediately made eye contact with me, and came out from behind the counter. I told him I needed a notary and instead of just pointing in the general direction of where I had to go, this gentlemen asked how I was doing, and walked me over the area and the person I needed to see. The woman helping me was so nice. She quickly got my document in order, all the while chatting in a very relaxed and friendly manner. We had a very nice conversation which, quite frankly is not something you see on Staten Island these days. Most places I visit, barely look at you, or acknowledge you. They are too busy looking at their phones, or talking to other people. This was one of the most pleasant experiences I have had in a long, long time on Staten Island, while doing any business in any area. I left there in a such a good mood, which again, is quite unusual, these days when going out to the store to get anything done.
