“Scotty is hands down one of the best transmission guys I know . He has been in the game 30+ years . Scotty has rebuilt about 10 different transmissions for me . NEVER had a problem with NOT 1!!! He is also a very kind hearted guy . I was putting in a transmission on the floor and I cracked the pump inside the trans . He went out of his way to help me to make sure I got my truck fixed and back on the road . Only guy that will ever do my transmission work !!!!! “These guys are magicians. I brought my 2008 Audi tt 3.2 quatro to 2 different mechanics before discovering this shop and they made my ride worse than it was when I got there. I was about to sell my car and a friend of mine recommended Sal at Gibralter transmissions. I was hesitant at first because this is a franchise and you know how much more franchises charge for even the simplest repairs. I told Sal my car issues and after a quick diagnosis he told me the part we need to change and gave me a price quote which pleasantly surprised me. I waited 3 months before writing this review because I wanted to make sure That the problems didn’t reappear. Thank you Sal and his professional crew.
