Very underwhelming location. I went specifically to test out which shades of makeup work best on me, and everything I wanted did not have testers. So what’s the point??? So, it was a very underwhelming and disappointing experience.

Terrible customer service. I placed and paid fully for an order on cyber Monday and I was unable to pick it up on the final day for pick up so I called and spoke to a representative and she told me she would hold it for me until the next day, which did not happen. My order was canceled and a manager would not price match the sale that I had already paid for. I won’t bother with this location again.
Update: I recently needed an item urgently and I was unable to leave my home so I decided to use instacart to deliver my item. Instacart only offered this location so I was left with no choice. The driver picked out an incorrect item which was an understandable mistake. I logged onto Instacart and it said that if I want to return an item, I simply have to go to the store and show them my receipt. I went to the store and I explained that I’d likely just exchange it for another item because I already re-purchased my correct item, which I decided to order for pick up since I was headed to the store anyway. The representative proceeded to ask about how Instacart works and if there was any proof of receipt. I showed her my receipt but she said there wasn’t any type of order number on it. She said this is a fairly new system and she’s really not sure how it works but that I should call Instacart which I explained the instructions they provided and she said it may just say that but to contact them directly. As a side note, I had already been dealing with two days of issues with their website and lost out on a 20% off coupon because I couldn’t log in without an error telling me to try again later AND me placing another 2 orders after receiving the wrong order and only one being cancelled due to a “delivery issue”. Both orders were suppose to be delivered from 6-9 on the same day and everything was in stock because that’s what I ordered for pick up the next day- so clearly I was frustrated. I asked if there’s anyway she can just do the return without a receipt so that I can purchase something else and she said sure but it can only be used in store which was fine. Then she said she wasn’t sure what price it would give me since it’s not a confirmed purchase. I know from working as a teen in retail for many years, most companies would just provide the lowest sale price for the item on a merchandise credit. I was okay with taking a small loss just to get out of the store but this lady proceeds to tell me it’s going to give me 72 CENTS.. this was a $52 item. So now, although I’m very stoic normally- this is literally like the second time I’ve ever writing a review on anything, but this was like Ezpass giving you a $50 fee on a $2 toll, absolutely not. Then curiosity got the best of me and I needed to hear how that very unique figure was calculated, long story not so short, it’s either random or the employee needs more training because I know I CAN’T be the first one without a receipt. Side note: I love Ulta for their stance on DEI and I will keep spending my check online but please get that website and that return process together BEFORE offering 3rd party delivery services. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I want to say that my visit to this store was terribly awful. I went to get something for my nails and also used the restroom. They didn’t have the product i was looking for and I explained them, that the package was different from the one they showed me, which is the same brand (dashing diva), the girl cut me off and said that was the only thing they had, she didn’t even try to look around to make sure they have it on a different place. Also they denied me the used of the restroom and dismissed me and cut me off by saying that it was only for customers of the salon. What’s with everyone actitud at this store??? What about female emergencies that constantly happen? It was an emergency. I also said that i work for Ulta in Orlando florida, they didn’t care and didn’t at least make an exception. We’ve never treated anyone at my store the way they treated me at this store. We’ve never denied the used of restrooms to ANY customer unless they’re out of service. The customer service to clients and co-workers at this store is the worst I have ever experienced. I visited on 10/03 around 5pm.

Rude customer service waited 15 mins for someone to tell me if an item was in stock or not had to ask another employee both hefty women didn’t bother to even approach me to let me know it was out of stock an older nicer women saw me looking for someone else to help and told me they didn’t have it in stock went to Sephora way nicer treatment avoid this Ulta at all costs

I never thought I would receive the most beyond-my-dreams salon services at an Ulta and learned from my experience that there are some good reasons why AMAZING stylists choose to work outside those “trendy” boutique salons. Jamie at this location is the absolute greatest stylist in every way possible I have ever experienced in all my 42 years. I’ve seen her three times now, and each time, she has blown my mind. Not only is she ridiculously talented (again, I have never been so impressed with cut or color and am convinced I never will be), she is an absolute joy to spend time with. I get massive social anxiety, and it used to prevent me from getting my hair done. Jamie makes me feel carefree again and puts me in an incredible mood. I can I easily pay for my services with my Ulta points and even without them, the cuts, color, etc. cost so much less in comparison to the salons here in Brooklyn which is great! Because I can give Jamie a bigger tip which she deserves!!!!!! Also, the outcome is 10 million times better so what is not to love. Ask for Jamie, she will baffle you with her talent and take less than half the time it would take anywhere else But also, all the staff I encounter here are so super sweet and down to earth. I never feel like they are pandering or upselling they are just being real, cool, people. I got my hair colored today and I can’t stop staring at it in awe. Decades of going to salons that didn’t put in the effort made me now appreciate and be grateful for real talent when I see it.

Whoever is the manager of this specific store needs to get their workers in check. They all have the nastiest attitudes for no reason and act like you're such an inconvenience just for checking out. One specific older lady at the register was actually so incompetent and almost started an argument with me for no reason. She wasn't wearing a name tag so not sure who she was. Genuinely have some type of staff meeting on how to act towards people because this isn't the first time ive had this experience.

I am truly speechless!! I have had soooo many bad experiences with my hair in Staten Island, especially with dark and curly texture. Who would have known there was even a Salon in Ulta! I walked in to his box dye my hair and I was Introduced to Jamie, a hair specialist in Ulta’s Salon and she made me feeel so comfortable. Jamie was patient with my questions and sooo honest about all of my concerns and she never steered me the wrong way. She is such a visionary , she recommended a cool way to keep my natural gray streak that blended soooo well with my new highlights and I’ve never felt so confident with my hair !!! She did such an amazing job!! I will be back to see Jamie !! Thank you soooo much Jamie !!! You’re the absolute best !!!

Came here for the first time just for a couple things and honestly the workers had attitude and follow you around like you’re about to gather all their perfumes and run, kinda ridiculous and then at the register the cashier was on her phone and disinterested it was so awkward lol, safe to say i’m not coming back (former ulta employee lmao)
