The male pharmacist that was working today is very arrogant (dark hair mid 30’s) he thinks he is something. Lacks communication skills. thanks God CVS is across the street

I have been a customer of Walgreens at 758 Arthur Kill Road for several years after switching from CVS due to insurance requirements. I never had an issue with CVS. We've had issues with Walgreen since we started use them for our pharmaceutical needs. I have spoken to the pharmacy managers, pharmacists and corporate headquarters but the issues continue. They had a system in place that if their phone was busy and a message was left it somehow was transferred to their corporate message system located in Florida. Many times, one of my physicians has left a prescription on the answering machine. However, when I called after not hearing anything from Walgreens a day or two later, I was told they did not receive it. I was told by the pharmacist and manager each time that the doctor's office did not call it in, they lie, etc. etc. Initially I thought that might be the case. I called my doctors back and was reassured it was in fact called in. One doctor in particular is very organized and detailed and provided the time he called. Again, this happened several times and I was finally told by a manager that they sometimes forget to check the service from Florida or calls get missed. It started getting better, so I remained a customer. On March 29 my physician told me as I was leaving her office that she would be calling my prescription into Walgreens. She made it a point to say they sometimes tell her patients that they never received the call from her. She instructed me to tell them to check their voice mail as that is the problem. Sure enough, I called inquiring about the status of my prescription after nor getting a notice it was ready and was told they never received the call. I asked them to listen to their voice mail but was told they didn't have the message. I called my doctor to confirm it was called in and it was. I called Walgreens back and spoke to Lisa, the pharmacy manager on March 30 and was told they didn't have my prescription, they didn't have a voice mail, etc. I explained this has happened several times, my physicians are aware of this problem, etc. She was not at all helpful. She told me to tell them to call again. How many times can a busy office call for the same prescription for possible many patients due to Walgreens failed system or incompetence? Fortunately, I am very competent and astute and realize I when I don't receive a call from Walgreens that my prescription is ready. I wonder how many elderly people don't get their prescriptions because they don't get a call from Walgreens informing them it's ready and they forget about it. It is very irresponsible and bordering on dangerous. They may be setting themselves up for a lawsuit. I will not be using them in the future and my doctors are suggesting to their patients not to use them as well.

I am leaving 1 Star so I can leave a review. Totally disgusted with customer service. Been having difficulty obtaining approval from doctors office. I have been taking this med for some time. Its most likely someone in doctors office not doing their job. Anyway I asked for 5 pills to tide me over. A 90 day supply is usually $30. The pharmacy said they would sell me 5 pills for $50. I told him I've been using Walgreens for some years and if this is the way I'm going to be treated I'll take my business elsewhere. His response was "you can go f__k yourself".

It's a chain drug store. Enough said. Been pretty happy with them . Cash prices for meds run to the high side.

Unhelpful pharmacist wouldn’t provide a booster shot despite having the NY state excelsior pass and photo of my previous covid vaccinations. I do not recommend this location.

I've had my script for years and was told today they won't fill out of pocket and that it's a red flag. WHAT!!!??? Many years ago I tried to submit it and it wasn't approved. How dare he?!!?!?!

Terrible customer service. I waited 1 hour on the drive-thru line for my covid testing appointment. When I got to the window I was told that I was late for my appointment and I had been waiting for 1hr and I was on time. They refused service and had terrible attitudes. Never come to this Pharmacy!

This is the WORST Walgreens...they shouldn't be in business!!! They set appointments for covid tests and cancel all the time! They are scummy about it and are a danger to the community!

Jordan is the best… She is patient, kind and energetic. Even when presented in stressful situations she remained calm, assisting me with my fed ex package. I give recognition when it’s due, and Walgreens should be happy to have her as an employee. Thanks again !

Disgusting staff. I was 5 minutes late for my drive thru covid test, and they refused to give me a swab to perform the test. I have to go to school tomorrow and I don’t know whether I will infect others or not. Disgusting.
