Food is always expired! Constantly throwing stuff out. Produce is... use of day of... or toss bc it will go bad next day. Always check expirations or you'll be buying old stuff.

Variety of merchandise and friendly service. Much of the foodstuffs are hard to find elsewhere. Great herb and spice selection.

Living very close, KeyFood has been our neighborhood supermarket since the day it opened. There is, however, the constant trade-off of quality and value Vs convenience. If you are to shop at this store, be prepared to toss out produce on a regular basis as it is a common occurrence to open a package of produce and find it to be rotten, or unusable. Our most recent adventure involved two heads of Romaine Lettuce which was so packed full of dirt and mud that cleaning it was impossible. My wife and I spent literally 30 minutes repeatedly soaking and rinsing the lettuce and were not able to eliminate the caked-in dirt. If this was a one-up failure we would laugh it off, but all too often we must change our plans because something we picked up at KeyFood was not edible. I do hope the store manager takes a look at this review and does something to improve this situation as we need a good neighborhood store, and this one isn't it.

The best grocery store in the area. The produce is fresh and beautiful. They have great little packs of precut mixes of veggies like asparagus, mushrooms and onions that save time if you want to make a quick meal. The store is very clean and all the presentations are neat and inviting. I really don't get the bad reviews of this place. The meat selection was fresh and they have a great selection. I picked up Bracciole and it was absolutely fantastic! Fork tender and Delicious! The other grocery stores nearby are laughable in their variety of produce, meat and fish compared to this store.

I purchased a Spiral Ham and it was disgustingly sour! Went back the next day with my receipt, the wrapping and tag and the manager would Not refund my money. He said to get a refund I’d have to bring him the ham! Basically that implies I’m lying and had nothing better to do at 70 years old in freezing weather. He didn’t even try to find out if I was a regular customer. I won’t be going back!

I am at my wits end with this stores poor management. During the pandemic the manager there was not only rude but downright mean and showed no compassion at all for his customers. Today was the last draw for me. Apparently they were having issues with their systems and none of the sale items were registering, my first bill was close to forty dollars which I knew was high so when I brought it to this cashiers attention she called him over and he started to scold me that the system is down!!!! Like it was my fault!!! He made No apologies, no attempt to make corrections or help the situation, only speaking rudely and disrespectful to the customer. It was truly embarrassing. I have been in the customer service business over 40 years and never in my life would I treat anyone that way. Even an irate customer, which I was not! I am telling you that this man should not be in a management position. Maybe there is a back office job you can offer him. I can tell you that you have finally managed to lose this longtime customer and am sure many more will follow my lead. Thank you for your time!

Nice selection and a visually pleasing store layout/ presentation of items, but they overcharge their customers like crazy. I'm not referring to the stated prices of the items on the shelves, (which can be a little high to start with) but the amounts charged when the items are scanned at the register. If you check your receipt after a purchase, you will notice that a number of items don't match the stated prices or the sale prices in the circular. This happens often; usually on about 10%- 15% of the items purchased. If you choose to shop here, ALWAYS CHECK YOUR RECEIPT and make sure that they have not overcharged you.

They are a nice big store with lovely cashier's and delicious meat, BUT when I have shopped there the last couple of times 75 percent of the cakes and breads were FULL OF MOLD!!! We checked everything but you could not see it until you take a serving! The dates were good as well! WHY IS THEIR STUFF LIKE THIS?!? I tried calling many times and they NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE NUMBER LISTED ON GOOGLE!! HOW DO YOU SELL MOLDY FOOD??!!? MY CHILD TOOK A COUPLE OF BITES AND THANK GOD SHE NOTICED IT BUT SHE STILL TOOK BITES AND SHE IS ALLERGIC TO MOLD! I am going back with the items for a refund! But still another trip and hopefully there won't be serious health issues from the bites she took!!! DISGUSTING, DANGEROUS UNACCEPTABLE!!!!

If I could give it no stars I would. The sale price never rings up at the register, you say something you get an attitude. When I ask the cashier for her name so I can let management know how rude she was I get why do you want to know my name? Then I get a receipt with the cashier's name on it. Really? lol The Chinese manager is another one, you complain he looks at you with three heads. They might be close to my house but from now on I'll take the trip to Shoprite. Good sales and good customer service.

Love everything about ShopRite. Have been going every week since it opened and have been so impressed with every staff member in every department of the store with their amazing customer service. I personally have asked any staff employee where a particular item is in the store. They will tell you and physically stop what they are doing to taking you to that aisle and showing. Unbelievable!! All their produce, meat and prepared food is outstanding. Nothing negative to say at all!!

Went here at 8am this morning, I was the only one checking out. The young manager who was hovering near the line as I was checking out with my 1 year old, was concerned I was stealing a plastic bowl and spoon my son (because apparently he's been watching cooking shows) was playing with. If she was paying attention at all, she would've heard my son cry as I took it from him, so the cashier could scan it first, so that I could give it right back to him. Instead, I finish my checkout and she says she is "curious" if I was charged for the bowl and spoon and I said yes, want to check the receipt? She said yes, looked at it, saw it on there and said nothing to me after. Tried to talking to my son and I let him and her know, we will be shopping at a different store from now on. All for a $3.99 bowl and spoon. Perhaps, Keyfood should train their people better to handle these situations.

This place is disgusting and should be shut down. This is probably the second or third time my meat was spoiled. Wtf is wrong with this place? I'm writing to corporate. This place is so dirty and disgusting. How is their meat always rotten?! Also, once I ate from the prepared food section and I got food poisoning. You will not be seeing me again.

I just went shopping at this store. It's beautifully clean and neat. I noticed a few things actually marked less than I paid in another store that I shop in but I'm not a "price" person as much as a "selection" and "clean" person. I was very impressed with the attention we got at the deli counter. I did not have to say hello or excuse me to get help. The counter man said if there is anything you need I'd be happy to get it for you. Service with a smile! Maybe things have changed since the negative reviews that are posted here or maybe they just want to keep a good thing to themselves. I was happy that I had no trouble parking and the store was not crowded to say the least. But I want them to stay in business because it was so nice. So I'm giving my review. I'm making this a favorite of mine.

I would give this zero stars. When you go in make sure you have a clothes pin for your nose or a mask to cover your nose,it smells likes something died in there and no one bothered to collect it.When I asked the cashier what the smell was,she said what smell!! Smells worse then my husbands gas attack's!! Gross!!
