“Visited Blue Bird Wine twice during our stay at Inness. Both times we were helped by Meaghan, who was a DELIGHT. Maybe one of the most nice and genuine people I’ve had the chance of meeting! Every bottle she recommended was a hit, she had us taste one as well and we immediately added it to our buy. Maybe the best wine shop I’ve been to in ages, we even told other people to visit. “Genuine gem in New Paltz. It’s on the outskirts, so you need to drive there, but I’ve never had a bad time here. Compared to the other liquor stores in the area, this store has a really nice, comfortable, family feel. The owner is over the moon to help explain the liquor (yes I know, that’s an upselling tactic, but you can tell he loves his job, and that’s super nice to see). There are always great deals and sales, I got a 1.75 100 proof bottle of vodka for $15- and they carry seltzers that I haven’t seen anyone else in the area carry! Highly recommend.”

“New owners have given this landmark beer store a much needed facelift and have big plans to continue upgrading. They are very welcoming upon walking in and willing to take any special request. The selection has increased, the building is brighter and more open, and prices are lowest in town! They have really embraced the no -alcoholic trend with a huge selection of NA beers, and wines.
