I have shopped Stony Brook Staples for many years for our businesses. I will never come back to this location because of disrespect. The manager is a rude man, how can you be rude to paying customer? Manager Mohamhad I will be contacting Staples about your disrespectful behavior
We will no longer be doing business with Staples. Very inconvenient for us, I do not tolerate such disrespect we have no such time to give for frustration.The store manager very rude to my wife. I asked for name he refuse. I ask employee the managers name and it is Mohammad. We will no longer give our business here. For our business we order online through Amazon for now on.

I highly recommend not shopping here, on June 15th 2025 at 11:32 am I called this location regarding the availability of the switch 2 console, when I was told they were completely out of stock I was disappointed as this console was to be purchased for my 6 year old sons birthday which is approaching in 10 days. The woman on the phone then told me that if I came Into the store I would be able to order one directly with her and have it
shipped presumably to my house. For context this store is 40 minutes away from my home, but to be able to purchase the switch 2 for my son, this would be worth it to me. I confirmed multiple times I was inquiring about the switch 2 and was assured and promised I could place the order in store, as they wouldn’t accept card payments over the phone. I arrived at the store and was greeted by a man working the tech help desk, he then explained to me that there was no possible way to complete or even start this transaction, I spoke to the woman who was working the desk on the phone and as soon as she heard me asking about it in store she walked away, this is a terrible and shady business practice and made me waste over an hour of my time just to be disappointed a second time,I will not be shopping at any staples locations anymore even though I’ve been a member for over 10 years and shop there almost daily. I will be letting all of my friends and family know to not shop at staples anymore due to the actions of the woman I spoke to on the phone it was a classic bait and switch (no pun intended) The dude was helpful atleast and expressed his apologies, but this is still unacceptable, bye staples

Just bought a new HP Envy 6400e All In One printer. I was really hoping our old one could be saved but it was time to replace it. Our tech assistant, Xristos, could not have been more helpful. We left our old printer to be recycled. I usually just buy coffee, tea, hot chocolate and printer paper, but today I was very happy to be able to pick up a new printer that was very reasonably priced and will save me money on ink.

Their rubber stamp was terrible. Took them a day and a half to produce: promised same day before 2 pm.
And when they did when I was there, it only took them 5 minutes to make it.. The stamp bled all over the place and didn't make a good impression on paper. I went to Rubber Stamps, Inc in Mineola (?) and picked it up in about 2 hrs. It cost $15 instead of $23, and works great. Adding ink is not messy. This is a "mom and pop biz."

Incredibly rude and condescending staff with colors of racism. Attempted to scan and copy one document and the worker there was incredibly unhelpful and completely demeaning. It ultimately took a total of 3 people to finally address the problem and all of their attitudes were completely off. Completely unprofessional conduct, highly recommend avoiding and going to absolutely anywhere but here.

Today, I visited the store with the intention of purchasing a cardboard box to ship a laptop. Upon arrival, I engaged with the store manager, Christian, seeking assistance in locating a specific-sized box measuring 16x16x4 inches. Despite my polite request, Christian directed me to search for it independently, which, while not particularly helpful, I initially accepted. Despite earnest efforts over a span of 10 minutes, I was unable to locate the appropriate box. When I approached Christian once more for assistance, he responded by stating that he could assist, albeit for a fee of $7. Subsequently, I noticed a discarded box within the store and inquired if I could utilize it. However, Christian refused, citing a label with the recipient's name as the reason for denial, overlooking the simple solution of blotting it out with a marker. When I requested to speak to a higher authority, Christian asserted that he was the manager. This encounter epitomized one of the most regrettable instances of customer service I've encountered, leaving me thoroughly dissatisfied. I strongly advise against patronizing this establishment, as the customer experience was nothing short of appalling.

The managers Christian, Matt and Jonathan are rude and condensing. The short kid JOE who works in copy center, it’s obvious you hate your job, then leave! You’re rude and incompetent so much so I’m calling cooperate about how you treated me and the elderly customers at self serve, how dare you! The copy department is atrocious, if you want your copies late, missing or not completed at all this copy center will fail you in all ways. The lady running copy center who refused to give me her name is rude and unhelpful. She turns customers away and tells them to come back the next day for a single copy. Customers are treated so poorly at Staples Stony Brook that I will never bring my business or recommend this Staples Stony Brook what so ever to anyone. Reviews need to be put fourth to change this stores attitude and lack of work ethic that is completely lacking.

They won’t print one page architectural drawing when I walked in.( 2 guys at the print center) they need to schedule it 24 hours ahead for be page!!!They really not into work at all. Knowing That I had used the location to print before with no problem.

Love the Print Center at Staples. Machines are easy to use and if you do have a problem the associates are knowledgeable and happy to assist. Great selection of shipping items, which is what I came in for.
