This ShopRite is not for people of color. The belittling demeanor and disregard of the simplest gesture such as customer service is always an issue.
I order 3 orders of Cupcakes for my daughters birthdays. The woman who originally took my order was wonderful, however she is not the one who handed me my order so i just want to make the clear.
While picking up order #1 7/6/2024 at 10:30 AM with a pickup time at 11:00 AM. I get to the bakery register and the baker with black glasses rudely replied that I was too early and that the order was not ready. As if my presence was bothering her.
Pickup order #2. 7/27/2024 A family member of mines goes to pickup our next order of cupcakes and has me on videocall. The look on the same woman’s face is unwelcoming and bothersome. She hands him cupcakes that are white frosted with pink sprinkles. However, on the order sheet it reads pink and purple with sprinkles. She continues to catch an attitude because the woman who needs to change it is not there. Options she provided was to accept the cupcakes or wait 20 mins. Which would had sufficed if her racist attitude didn’t prevail. By then, i was extremely frustrated by her rudeness as an employee representing a major business, so i called the store manager who is supposed to be skilled in handling these matters. A man by the name of Mr. B answered and he was worse.
I explained what was going on at the bakery and his response was “yea yea, i already know and the woman in the bakery is already handling it.”
The lack of service, courtesy for the bakeries era and dialect is awful. This store needs training on appropriate customer service dialect and reasoning , not targeting minorities while shopping just because of the shade of their skin and basic human decency.

I've been shopping at this store for a long time but recently things have gotten bad.
I'm a handicapped person and can't walk the full store so I use the scooters, the last few times the scooters have died in the middle of the store and the other ones are not even plugged in so I've been forced to leave without my groceries if you don't want my money you don't get my money it's not hard to charge your scooter or just get rid of them and I'll go elsewhere

I’m very upset lately with the online shopping experience . I’m elderly 70 years old and handicapped and I really need to use this service as they are the only ones who deliver in my area . In the past month or so I’ve been charged for things I didn’t receive like garlic in the amount of over $3 and I also was sent out dated (by 10 days) leaky oranges and it took me calling 6 times to finally get refunded … got bagels this week and also outdated by a week and also this week I received things I didn’t order as I wanted 2 packs of chicken thighs that were on sale and should of cost little over $4 per package but instead I was sent 2 packages of chicken breasts costing around $ 12 per package which is 3 times the amount per 2 packages that I planned on spending and of course wanted thighs not breasts !!!! I got alerted to it when my card was declined because I was not budgeted to pay that much more so had to put it on another card which I pay my bills from so put me in bad situation and when I realized why my other card was declined I was told order was on way to me and to late to stop delivery !!!! Then I was told I would be reimbursed but every-time I call they’re on a break or not available ! And to top it off one of the drivers hit my car couple months ago and tried to run off while delivering and I had to call police to resolve issue ! I’m very saddened by all this and disappointed as I’ve always found the online shopping people to be very nice and now I don’t know what to think of what’s going on in this store ! Ps I went to go open bagels and now they’re outdated by over a week too !!

If I could give this ShopRite zero stars I would. I’m tired of getting followed by the albino man/ loss prevention while shopping. I believe this ShopRite targets black people when shopping. It’s very aggravating and annoying. Usually I wouldn’t mind, but it gets frustrating every time you turn around or every time you’re in an aisle he is there pretending to shop. Listen ShopRite stop discriminating against black shoppers.
