Nice staff here. A little slow like any government agency.

They need to update their hours. Claimed to be open until 4 pm on Sat but door was locked at 3:50 pm or earlier. Please put the actual time you close the doors to the public.

It’s a small post office, might seem a bit outdated as well. But i actually like that about it, the small town vibes. I have been here several times since i moved. The lines vary depending on the time of day. They are open till 7pm on weekdays so that’s helpful. Every time i have been there the clerks have been super helpful. I needed a lot of help deciding what package to send and save money as well when mailing a package to Europe and robert(clerk) was really nice and helped me with weighing the stuff and even told me about the best options. I needed that just so i can decide the best route to go. The clerks are always nice about making sure the mail is properly wrapped as well. Once i didn’t have the label on right and the clerk took the time and fixed it instead of just sending me away to fix it myself. I appreciated that. So over all i would recommend this place.

A clerk name Robert is rude disgusting and disrespectful. Condescending and rude. Steer clear if you can.

Other than waiting on line-I've had nothing but polite and super helpful experiences at the Suffern Post Office. They're open more hours than any other nearby PO and they don't close early.Need your passport in a hurry and don't know how to fill out the paperwork? Need help mailing your taxes or overnighting important documents that can't be late? Having an issue with a package that was supposed to be delivered but never received? How about just a pleasant smile and positive attitude after the previous customer gave the PO employee an unwarranted hard time for something obviously out of their control? I recommend the Suffern PO- a slice of real life while waiting on line.

The guy working the front desk was so rude. If your job makes you this miserable, just leave.

The clerk could use some help controlling his emotions while waiting on customers

Overall the post office is great, staff are pretty friendly. I give it 2 stars because my last encounter was not pleasant. It seems one bad apple ruins the ratings for the entire post office.

We’ll, I am surprised to see the low rating for this post office. I’ve lived in the area for over a decade and now that I am moving I know I will miss their service. Open until 7pm on weekdays was great so I could come after work. Shipping multiple packages on a daily basis the Suffern Post Office was 99% on point with handling my packages, they always got to their destination and with average earlier deliveries. The staff was always friendly and on the very rare occasion that I had to call they did pick up. And yes, like any other postal office, lines will be long during peak hours…P. S. shoutout to all the Post Office men and women who were covering the Airmont 10901 routes. Especially during the 2020-2021 pandemic. THANK YOU for what you do! God bless you all.

Standard USPS. Plenty of parking in the municipal lot across the street. There was a good sized line of 4 or 5 people but the gentleman behind e counter was pretty fast and efficient. Cool antique artwork on the wall

I paid $50 and was told my package would be delivered on Monday. It’s Wednesday and it’s still not there. Terrible
