DO. NOT. USE. Over a month after our move from CT to ME and we are missing half of our furniture and boxes. This company made no effort to correct this HUGE mess up. Despite many efforts from us to be understanding and patient and paying in FULL we have gotten nowhere. Go read the Better Business Bureau and Federal Department of Transportation reviews on this company . This has happened to many. Now they refuse our phone calls and have stolen our items as they will not deliver what they have. Pretty sure this company is a scam and they sell your stuff that they skim off the top. Hope they enjoy my husbands late fathers items and our baby memories. No one cares. They will not help you. HORRIBLE. Beware.

Very very disappointed. They sound great when talking to them. The team that packed our stuff were dressed in rags, no uniforms or even trying to look presentable. Although they were nice and tried to explain everything to us. The biggest problem was the team that delivered our goods to us, they were lazy. Didnt want to do the work they were supposed to do. Then there were pieces of mine left at the storage facility. 1 PC I was called about the day the team left to my new address (they mailed it - to my old address which of course the new owners refused - it still has never been sent to me and I cant get anyone at the company to respond). The other piece was damaged and they didnt want us to know, I called them because it was missing and that was when they told me, (that piece they did mail to me luckily to the correct address and it was received). We also had many pieces that were taped inside boxes missing / stolen. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO MOVE YOU ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE TO USE THE FREE STORAGE!!!! CANT SAY IT ENOUGH.....VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!

Moved in July across the country, one of my boxes was lost during the move. The company made me file a claim with Anthem , which handles their claims. They made me submit an inventory with a list of items that were in the box with the prices and date they were purchased, which came to $500 with a change by the way. I did all that, submitted the claim and two months later Anthem comes back to say that according to your contract we will pay you 60 cents a pound and we estimate the weigh of your box as 70lb, so we will pay you $42!!! That's a cost of my toaster!! What about the rest of the items that were lost. Well, they tell me , go talk to the moving company itself, maybe they can do better than that. So I go back to the company, they tell me " let us see what we can do".... Two months go by , i call every week for an update and all i hear is " we are still working on it". So finally after 4 months of waiting they tell me, sorry, there's nothing we can do, take the $42 or leave it... Really??? Do you guys even care about your customers??? When it comes to taking our money it's upfront and God forbid you offer a check, it has to be cash only! When asked " did you even try to find my box", the answer is " yes, but we couldn't find it". How can that be??? Some other customer must have received it.. Did they keep my used stuff to themselves??? Is that what I'm supposed to assume???

Disaster! Please don't contract with this company. We have had multiple issues on all levels of service. Bait and Switch, holding items hostage, theft, etc. While they show they are BBB Accredited, I don't know how. We are currently using them for a move from Maryland to Florida. The customer service was poor, the prices have been increased at each level of service - at pick-up in Maryland and again at delivery in Florida. Our items are being held right now for delivery but they are requiring more money to deliver, even though they have had our things since July 2nd and nothing has changed. Lock up any money, purses, etc. cash was stolen from us - part of that was for tips. We filed a police report. All in all, go with a company that you can trust! What a shame.

Most of the customer that were in storage I hope you guys got your items out before he closed the door... I want to tell all the customer I worked with it was a pleasure meeting everyone of you... In the end it was not only the customers that got screwed it was the employees as well the owner disappeared with out paying any of us... I had so many police contacting me from different states looking for the owner to all the customers of we move you I'm deeply sorry you had a horrible experience moving...

Stay as far from this company as humanly POSSIBLE! They never showed up on the moving date... when I called to complain, I was yelled at and they hung up. Trying to get my down payment back that I gave them in good faith last week ... NO ONE in the company IN ANY DEPARTMENT is contacting me to let me know about a refund. PLEASE learn from my colossal mistake!!!!

Beware of this company, I had requested a quote from them, we did it via Skype. He saw everything I had to move and gave me a quote, Upon the arrival of the movers to move out of my home, they raised the price by 1500.00. I had no choice since I had made plans to move out and into other home. The promised me on date that my belongings would be at my new address, after multiple calls and emails with no response, I finally heard from the driver, informing me they would be delivering my stuff on Tuesday (5 days after the committed date) then they wanted payment before they would take anything off the truck and wouldn't allow me to do a visible inspection. Then after everything was unloaded, several items where missing. Again I called the office and haven't heard back. Very shady company. Would not suggest you use them. Poor Service and even more important is the items which were missing.

Look at the pictures. Filed a claim with BBB and speaking with a lawyer.
When I called this week they told me that because I had posted a review (over a month after my move with no resolve) they were no longer willing to work with me or process a refund.
Three legs broken off the coffee table, boxes were untaped and opened, suitcases ripped, hole punched in the back of the bookshelf, items (books and clothes) damp, furniture padding torn so everything was scratched, one of my boxes had been opened, everything removed, and then dumped into a different box that they company owned. Customer service told me that was unacceptable and against protocol and then did nothing.
Almost all of my boxes had been untaped and/or opened.
I had to call them repeatedly, daily, for nearly a month just to get the claims form and have been told for almost two weeks they were emailing me a refund for an additional charge "soon" "this week" "today" and I still have not received it. They do not respond or follow up once you sign a contract. It was difficult to contact the driver despite being guaranteed a 72 and 24 hour notice before he arrived. He kept telling me he wasn't sure when he'd come until the third day of texting when he said he'd be at the house in a few hours with no prior warning.
Pick up team was great. Nobody else was. The company told me they'd be in contact when my items shipped from the depot. I got a call two days later with a "maybe" they were leaving today and I'd hear back by the end of the day. I didn't so then I called everyday until I got ahold of someone who told me they still hadn't shipped which was over a week from when they were picked up.
The sales woman told me repeatedly it would arrive in 10-14 days. We spoke 3+ times about the delivery date and even pushed back the pick-up date she was so confident in this estimate. Took 20 days, 1 day less than the legally required time they needed to arrive.
Sales woman also told me that the street I lived on was fine and wouldn't need a shuttle service. We discussed it several times and she confirmed twice that the street would accept the truck. Customer service told me a week later (once I'd signed and things were picked up) that there was "always" going to be a shuttle fee so they were sorry for the "confusion." They obviously had the delivery address the entire time but didn't communicate there would be a charge until the items had shipped, I had signed a contract and paid. The truck came and then they charged me an additional $350. I was only told of this fee a couple of days in advance of delivery, meaning over two weeks after my stuff had been picked up.
I called the saleswoman and she told me to "be sweet" to the driver to see if he would remove the charge. That's the only help I got was to be "really nice and ask" him to not charge me for a service that I was told I wouldn't need. I wouldn't have chosen the company had I known it would be $350 more than the estimate especially because apparently they knew the whole time. I paid under protest and am in a BBB investigation and waiting to see if they follow through on anything to have to take it further.
When I complained that my boxes had been opened (taped removed entirely or sliced open) they originally were very upset and said it was unacceptable. After two weeks of calling and not being responded to I got a very brief email that the driver said the boxes ripped because they were too heavy and did not address that they had been illegally opened and items removed. Frustrating since everybody assured me that this was unacceptable and continually brought up financial compensation and then stopped answering me suddenly.

They stole $14,000 worth of goods from me - 5 boxes out of 30. They broke a leg off my dresser. I moved from NY to LA and they stored my stuff for 4 months in between. I agreed to use them because they told me they could store my stuff for 6 months, which would include 2 months free of charge. After one month of storage, I started getting harassing emails from Daisy asking for storage money. I told her the storage was included in my contract price. She kept harassing me for more money and eventually said that I had only paid for 4 months of storage (despite what my contract said) and she needed more money or my stuff would be put up for auction. I talked to the other yelp reviewers and got scared, so I asked for my stuff to be delivered after 4 months. Alex, the mover, arrived with my stuff in LA. 5 boxes were missing. 80% of the boxes that did show up were opened and damaged then taped with brown tape that I had never used. They stole stuff out of the boxes I did get and then they stole 5 whole boxes of jewelry, makeup, cameras, ipods, postcards, and family photos. 1 box had rat p*** in it. An exercise bike and a table that weren't mine showed up on the truck as well. They are either very careless with moving things or they're spiteful. Luckily, I filmed the entire drop off, and now I am suing them for $14k. I also reported them to the FMCSA.
