Daiso is also very popular in South Korea and in Korean language, Daiso literally means, pun intended, ‘we have everything.’Indeed this Japanese mart has literally everything you need for the house and school. Dinnerware, snacks, gardening needs, clothing, stationary, cleaning products, etc., just name it and they have it. However, the quality of their products are suspicious at best.It’s fun to browse through the mart. It’s fun to purchase a thing or two you may need. But beware, these things will not last long.”

“Pretty well stocked. Not too messy for holiday time. Staff appeared unwilling to assist the disabled on my last trip. I saw someone with a walker struggling to manuever through stock items strewn about within the aisles while in the vicinity of a shelf stocking staff member, and the customer was ignored. Hopefully this was a seasonal helper, and she won't still be working there when I return.”

“I recently went to this Dollar Tree location to purchase art supplies. After being checked out,I forgot to pick up my oak-tag paper. I reached my car a block away and a man passing by motioned to me to turn around, because a woman was trying to get my attention. When I turned around,I saw Ms. Lee waving my rolled up oak tag that I had forgotten ( which by the way I really needed for a project).Now THAT is PROFESSIONALISM at it's Best!!! For the working class every penny matters in the 2022 era of inflation and agflation surging to the sky for a turbulent economy. I do support local Mom and Papa stores for the community.This discount store is well stocked and the male owner is very knowledgeable about his inventory and products available in stock. Price is reasonably inexpensive compared with other stores in this locale Queens neighborhood. He is acutely aware of a degreaser name Awesome Cleaner Degreaser as I have been seeking as a substitute for Easy-Off Oven Cleaner.”

“This 99 cent is best the in central ave. The guys that work there are very professional and kind. There was an older woman there who started following me and my family around the store knowing not knowing are regular customers. ( guess she was new cause I never seen her before ) We always shop there for bubble wrap for my business or detergent since our laundromat is right next door from it. But other than that it’s very organized. I like it there. Small but have everything you need”

“When my mother was having surgery in 2020 at New York Presbyterian Hospital over there I went to that store 99 Cents of St. Nicholas while waiting for it to be done. I bought her a nice amount of stuff before my father, & I were able to go in to see her after the surgery was taken care of. A real nice amount of stuff for a real good price. Employee's were respectful as well.Thank you.”

“I don't know what anyone can say bad about Dollar tree... it's everything you want for about $1. Or a $1.25 these days... I call it $50. Dollar tree... every time I go to a Dollar tree... I loose mind and spend at least $50.. I swear if you don't stop me I will by 1 of everything in the store just because it's only a $1.25. What you find in Dollar tree is incredible. I think my next door neighbor bought her car at Dollar tree!!!!???? I dare you to go into a Dollar tree and only send $5.... I bet you can't.”

“This store is literally one block from me, I pass by it everyday and utilize it very frequently. There like neighborhood family, they're pleasant and very helpful. The prices are great and you can literally get everything here, from batteries, bracelets, umbrellas, bottled water by the 24 pack etc, dye, beauty and hair products, household appliances, cleaning equipment, everything and they have the good brands at great prices. I really do like this store as will you.”

“Let me tell you, this $1.25 store has good lighting and a good layout. It is more open than the one further east on Queens Blvd and north in Astoria. Vibe check is ok. Crowd is usually on the more senior side and not sketchy. Like most dollar stores it's usually understaffed and tends to have only one cashier. Lines form in an aisle so if it looks like the line is too good to be true, it may well be, but do check the aisle across the register before people yell. I love browsing. You'll find the most random things and also the most useful, and wonder how they sell them for a fraction of what Home Depot or BBB charges. Like knock off command hooks, hair ties, school supplies, kitchen supplies, craft items, and helium balloons! Merch is updated fairly frequently which makes every trip a new adventure. Pop in and see how you can stretch your dollars.”
