From the outside looking in, it appears as a "if you're not known don't come in" type of establishment. It's not! Don't let that fool you. The interior setup is rustic for lack of a better word. Definitely gives the place its vibe. Noise level is that of a constant chatter with some music in the background. I believe Gill hosted us and he was very helpful. We had two spicy margaritas and I enjoyed mine. My daughter's wasn't as hot as she had liked it or thought it would and Gill had no problem adjusting it for her. We ordered the guac and I'm not a fan of it. However, this one tasted good. I had the plantains and meat and mushroom ensemble. It's an appetizer and it was great. Blended well with each other. My daughter had the steak tacos and she loved it. Overall the price is what you make it. I enjoyed myself, my daughter got a new place to call home and I'll be back to visit Alcove.

Super fun vibe! Went with a big group of friends for brunch without reservations and they accommodated no problem. Margarita flight was a great value and food was delicious! Will be back to buy their chimichurri sauce

First, the coffee tasted like they warmed up a puddle out back and poured it into a cup. Next, the food took about 3-4 business days to come. Third, the nachos on the menu promised tricolored chips but they were all the same color. I was appalled by the lack of diversity after I was promised a diverse set of chips. Fourth, the food was a touch cold. Maybe if they hired a few more people I'd receive same day delivery. Fifth, there was coleslaw on the burger that was sloppily slapped on the bottom bun. It's also quite tight and compact. It wasn't a terrible experience but nothing to write home about.

The service and video of this place is great. If you want a chill, relax atmosphere and brine then come when they open. It does get a little loud when busy but overall an excellent spot. Spencer was amazing. The drinks can make it quite more expensive if you're just looking for a decent priced brunch so keep that in mind.

The alcove is the absolute best. Never misses. It always feels like home. The food is outstanding, and it’s consistent every single time. The tilapia wrap with Chimichurri fries, the Alcoveritas, and the alcove burger are always incredible. Don’t sleep on the alcove!

I gave this place another shot after I saw a tent out front on Feb 10 that said they had oyster happy hour. They don’t. Turns out the ad in front of their restaurant was for a different restaurant. ??♂️Service here is always friendly. Nothing else is very good. It’s pricy, crowded, and with just one bathroom you can expect a long line at weekend brunch.

Great ambiance and selection of food and drinks. Enjoyed the spot and alcove burger and sandwich.Wish the alcove fries had something more than cheese and bacon. The alcove cheesesteak needed a lil more flavor and the food wasn't hot.

Excellent food, excellent service, and great selection of adult beverages!A very convenient way of reserving a table at this rather small place, where you can call 20 minutes before you arrive, and the kind staff will hold a table for you for about 10 minutes. Exactly what we did for a table of four for a Sunday late brunch. The place is tiny and while it has outdoor seating, it's probably best for the same in summer. They have good cocktails and a good selection of beers on tap.We ordered coffees ($3), Grilled Cheese ($17) which lacked taste, Burrito Wrap ($17) which we ordered with Chimichurri truffle fries (extra $4) - which were absolutely delicious, a very tasty Portobello Burger ($15) which also felt light on the stomach, and Tacos (3 for $15) which were good.Service was good and food arrived within 20 minutes. Noise level was on the average side, and our server Joseph ensured that everything went smooth during our stay here for about an hour or so. Overall, a good experience, and we will certainly drop by again during summer!Vegetarian options: Limited Options for Vegetarians

Fantastic cosy place with great food and friendly service. Big surprise for us as we didn't know the area but now very pleased to have a place to go to that's worth it. The hot dog is fantastic and they even have non alcoholic beer, a winner!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options available

The funniest backstory as to how I found here lol. I was watching Full House one day, and I kept hearing the word “alcove” and I forgot what it meant so I looked it up. Ironically in Google searching, I found here. I mentioned it to my friend Alejandra and she said she was down to go. Perfect to me lol! Both of us had such an amazing time with Guil’s sarcasm and Joanna’s art on our drinks! What a beautiful night to unwind with tasty foods and drinks to match! Can’t wait to come back for sure! ?

Warm welcome the moment you step in. Relaxed, intimate, and a surprisingly good beer list. ??
