I've been a customer for more than 10 years. We have 4 dogs with Fidos fences collars. I ordered 2 batteries (for the newer collars). The older 2 collars use batteries that can be purchased on Amazon for less than half the price but the newer collars only take Fidos fences batteries. I ordered 2 replacement batteries for our 2 newer collars. Along with the 2 batteries I received 2 additional batteries that don't fit in any of our collars. Just got charged $40 dollars for the 2 batteries that I did not ask for and cannot use. They won't refund my money until I send back the 2 batteries. They admit it was their mistake but I have to be inconvenienced by sending them back. It's absurd. The batteries are totally overpriced as it is.

Having this company install an invisible fence on my property was the best thing I could have ever done . They were professional and prompt and the person who did the training was very dog friendly and took there time explaining everything . We had a second puppy join our family and once again they were wonderful. The best thing I can say is that when I had a problem with the wires being cut by the Highway department not only were they there to fix them but 2 weeks later they were there again and because Christine ,the owner, listened to my concerns and went above and beyond to ensure that I was completely satisfied I will be a lifetime customer and will highly recommend them to everyone who wants to protect and ensure the safety for our most precious fur babies. Fido Fence was great!! We were so worried about our doggies after moving to suburbs. The invisible fence gives us peace of mind to know that they are protected. We have one more training session with Fido Fence. But so far, our two dogs are adjusting well. I highly recommend this company!Service: Dog fence installation

Wow, I am surprised to see all the negative reviews because my experience with Fidos fences has been tip top! They came out and flagged my property, were kind to my animals, trained all of my dogs and I have always had a pleasant customer experience with them up until just last week. SO, maybe there was a crap employee that was giving them a bad rep in the past, but I can say that over the last 7 years I have been very happy with the company.

I installed an invisible fence for my dog. They were right in time and installed it quickly. After a few weeks thery came again and trained my dog and came again to increase the level. Eventually they replaced the collar to a more powerful one. They did it without charging extra.Also, they answer very quick and communicate well. Too much negative to even list here but will say to find a better company. The very last issue with them was a surprise charge on our CC of $216 with no notice at all. They came out to FIX an install issue (we had to make 5 phone calls to finally get a manager to come out and resolve it) but they did resolve the issue finally (no mention of a charge of any kind) and then surprise, let's bill you. They reversed the charge and then said it was my doing to ask if things cost for the future, hardly admitting the company should be telling the customer what things cost if there is one. That's unprofessional or just amateur and that's probably how they do things. I'd go elsewhere in the future.

Would give the no star if possible. They will nickel and dime you at every opportunity. Once they get hold of your CC ... expect them to send you needless supplies every month. Steer clear for us they have been a really bad experience.

We hired Fido because some of their trainers are actually very good. Of course though, the trainers will push their invisible fence product. Decided to bite the bullet and actually get one. Front and backyard all set up. Worked wonders for about 9 months. Then a bad rain storm happened and the receiver was beeping. Did a quick google about the beeping and found out it means there is a break in the line. I decided to look around my yard if I could visibly see any break, which I have never done after they installed it. About 40% of the wire is installed underground and the other 60% is just sitting above the ground near my actual yard fence. Uh, what? Anyway, I call them to see if they support their own installs. What a mess, not only do they charge you a fee just to come see the actual issue, they will charge you a few hundred to fix a broken line and or splice the wires back together. Excuse me? Normally invisible fence companies offer free repair because their failure rate is low because 99.9% of the time its UNDERGROUND. Now with 60% of the line installed above round the line is bound to fail from pretty much anything. I paid them a crazy install fee for them to lay a wire down in my line that will fail within a year just to pay them to "fix" it again. I actually stopped recommended this company to friends and family. I can't support poor management and customer service.

Installation person not very good. Left wire exposed in many sections and had to bury myself. The fence is great and worked well with my dog. With both installation and repair the review of their performance was filled out by them ????? Not sure that works for me
