Amazing Authentic Greek Food In Syosset on Jackson Ave! I found this place while at an appointment in the area and it was phenomenal! The Chicken gyro was so juicy! I absolutely loved the best! The Tzatziki sauce is made fresh it is simply amazing and the pita bread is home made it tastes like it was made in Greece. This is small quaint beautiful place in a shopping center that takes pride in their culture and heritage, it shows as you step in. I love it! ? ???️Family run..Kathy and John are great people extremely nice, funny and accommodating. The lunch specials are a great deal. I understand from John they are going strong since 1985 that’s incredible? I am so glad I found them..better late than never. I will be back again!

I had been coming here as my go to Greek place for many years, since they were in their last location. The menu hasn't changed, the prices have soared and the food has gone downhill to the point where I'd rather pay a little more and go to Platia. I had tried to stay loyal but the food just isn't as good anymore. It's tired and incredibly inconsistent. I just don't know what I'm going to get when I open the bag. I feel bad because it's a nice family owned restaurant, but just can't support it anymore.

This used to be a favorite "take out" Greek lunch place. On a recent visit, took out wraps & pita filled with chicken , pork. The chicken was over cooked , tasteless , the pita was not fresh and the veggies were not plentiful. The pork was hard & chewy. Very disappointing.

One of the best authentic Greek family restaurants on Long Island. It's all about the ingredients and the chef; they have the finest of both! Superb food; to eat great Greek food: go here!

My husband and I moved to the area a few years ago and were on the search for an amazing Greek restaurant! Once we found It's Greek to Me we go all the time! The food is always incredible and the owners are so sweet.

I called the store and a woman picked up the phone. She talked very fast. I asked her what’s in Baba Ghounish and she said she doesn’t know the recipe. I told her I have allergies and she hung up the phone. She said she doesn’t serve people with allergies. Why is she so rude?

We've been going here for years, but last night was our last visit. On top of that, as a chef/owner of 3 restaurants in Manhattan, I take this very seriously. We got 2 orders of the lamb chops -- medium rare. When they came to the table, both orders were beyond well done. They were so charred on the outside, it was as if the chef forgot to keep an eye on them. When we asked the waitress (owner) if we could get them redone, we received the nastiest look. On top of that, she made us cut into each lamb chop to try and prove us wrong. There were a total of 5 chops in each order. We obliged and each chop was DARK gray. It was embarrassing for her, for us and the other patrons. She should know better - the customer is always right, no matter what. Simple business etiquette. When we got the new order,, they were barely cooked - completely raw inside. We didn't say anything, paid our bill, tipped 20%, only to have the chef/owner give us a disgusting look on the way out when we said thank you. Horrible. This family run restaurant needs a makeover in the worst way, starting with a new chef and nicer staff. Plenty of Greek restaurants around Syosset - I would avoid at all costs. Save your money and go up the street to Platia. Much better food and nicer staff/owner. Would give 0 stars if I could..
