-Large coffee shop with good coffee, cold brews and a wide variety of bakery items.-A lot of tables and two collaborative work tables with charging ports. I'm always able to find a spot to sit and study.-Staff is friendly and give off immaculate hipster coffee house vibes. Similar to that of a soft indie rock band.-10/10 would recommend.

Chai latte and cinnamon roll were not good. Both were cold. Service was okay. Place was very loud.If you’re coming to work, it’s hard to find a spot. And on top of that, you might even be asked to move… I didn't appreciate the worker/owner asking me to move my spot when I just got settled with all of my work for his friend’s book signing. If they knew that area was going to be needed, they should’ve blocked it off in advance. It’s pretty inconsiderate. Overall, I’d say there are better spots to hit in the area!

Mongos Roastery and Lounge in Syosset, New York is a hidden gem that I stumbled upon recently, and it has quickly become one of my favorite spots. The coffee is absolutely delicious, and the menu items look equally tempting. One of the things I really appreciate is the ample seating available, perfect for either working on my computer or just enjoying a cup of coffee with friends. I also love the convenience of being able to order my coffee and have it brought to me by the attentive staff.Another huge plus is the abundance of parking. It's always a relief to find a place where parking isn't a hassle.Overall, Mongos Roastery and Lounge is a fantastic spot with delicious coffee, a great menu, comfortable seating, and excellent customer service. I'll definitely be making it one of my go-to spots for getting work done on my computer.Parking: Plenty of parking!Wheelchair accessibility: There’s a wheelchair lift that helps individuals in wheelchairs access the main entrance, which shows great thoughtfulness for those with mobility challenges. I appreciate this attention to inclusivity.

Pretty disappointed in what I received compared to the ratings. I ordered a whip cream peppermint Latte. Looks like someone drank my coffee and gave me what they didn’t want. Also the toast looks nothing like its picture and looks like they did a half- lazy job on it and threw on whatever. Won’t be ordering from here again!

I used to love coming here, but today was really disappointing. My latte tasted sour and watered down, and was surprised that they use planet oat milk vs. a better quality alternative milk. When I politely asked the barista about it, she got defensive and was rude. She probably hates her job, but don’t take it out of the customers, geez. Anyways, this left an even more sour taste in my mouth.

When you first walked in, the atmosphere was very laid back and trendy, high tables, couches and tables, very spacious. The smell of fresh coffee is always pleasant. We had a nitro coffee which was ok and a regular brewed hot coffee which was delicious with the right amount of milk and sugar. They had some different options and treats. They also had gluten free snacks, dog treats and protein energy balls on the counter. All in all it's a pretty cool away from all popular area hang out and chill place to go to.

Oh boy. This is going to be a long one.I stopped here while passing through the area, hoping for a friendly small business experience. I could not have been more wrong.Firstly, the coffee was questionable. It had a weird aftertaste, almost chalky in nature but not quite. It seemed watered-down. I’m not sure if that’s how it regularly is or if it was just my experience, but I would definitely take my business to somewhere consistent like Dunkin Donuts or Starbucks instead. The real issue, however, was the customer service. They seem to deny most of the issues that arise. Just as they seemingly deflect their negative reviews by discrediting the reviewers with what ?appears? to be lies, they deflect any and all criticism quite rudely in person. As soon as I walked in I felt the tension in the atmosphere. I understand it’s hard work, but when your business model consists of being sassy on google review and making subpar coffee, it seems like a you problem. Just don’t waste your time here honestly.

Had a terrible experience this morning when an employee kicked me out for bringing my protein shake inside. I was about to drop my jacket and backpack to order a coffee and breakfast. I will never go back to Mongos unfortunately.

I had high hopes for a pleasant outing when I visited Mongo's, but unfortunately, my experience fell far short of expectations. The ambiance was lackluster, to say the least. The decor seemed outdated and tired, contributing to a rather uninviting atmosphere. The seating was uncomfortable, and the overall cleanliness left much to be desired. As for the service, it was abysmal. The staff seemed disinterested and inattentive, showing a lack of enthusiasm or even basic courtesy. It took an eternity for someone to take my order, and when the food finally arrived, it was mediocre at best. The presentation was sloppy, and the taste was underwhelming, as if no effort was put into the preparation. To add to the disappointment, the prices were exorbitant for the quality of food and service provided. It felt like an unjustified splurge for such subpar offerings.

Used to be good when they had actual chefs. Boy has it gone downhill…
