HI Folks. We had a break in this AM around 645 this am. This outstanding citizen broke our door waited a few good minutes (assuming traffic on James stopped him) then climbed through. Right now only picture we can get but are still looking.FYI. This picture came from our own purchased system we installed after ADP failed us a year ago. It failed again. I tried then to cancle contract and twice since. They will not allow it as it is a three year contract. Listen carefully. ADP is awful. Under any circumstances they should not be used. We will deal with that today but if you are looking for a security system do not choose them.Update! Eight months since this occurred and I’m still awaiting payment of only 50% of my $1000 deductible. The most allowed by company despite their failures.I was in the phone with them for 2 hours yesterday after AGAIN the cameras went out. This is a monthly occurrence. I was told I have to call every time it goes out for a month credit when all I want to do is cancel it. They can’t do that. I must call every month for the next 12 months. Fine. Each month I will repost this review with updates. I also put out there weekly issue updates on our FB, TikTok and Instagram live events. The absolute worst customer service and security around.

Had an appointment for tech to install. The tech showed up and suddenly it was going to be $20 more a month for $500 in additional equipment. The equipment is financed over 60 months $500/60 months is not $20/ month. I was totally creeped out by the call center person and in person agent that showed ups conflicting statements. I canceled and then he offered to give my everything for free. Just totally freaked out by all this.

I have had the ADT security system for approximately 12 years. For the first 7 years, it worked well. However, despite paying for all the upgrades that ADT recommended, the system has not worked well for the last 5 years. I'm now at the point where I have done everything possible, including purchasing the best possible equipment, and if they cannot keep my system on-line and operating, I will discontinue their service. They are also deceptive in their service. I was quoted a $60 charge for a service call and then they added $135.00 for the technician. The quote should have been $195 as I don't think they generally send a truck without a technician....I have also worked (more successfully) with my internet provider to upgrade everything. I've now given them a month to prove that they can actually function...

I have been a customer for 15 years and never requested help from this company. Suddenly, my system began to malfunction and I called for service. The service tech was nice, but hadn't a clue how to work on my system. He had NO replacement parts in his truck and had to leave twice to go get two tiny parts from the warehouse (10 miles away). He returned, broke one of my key pads and did not know how to repair it. When he left FIVE HOURS LATER....my system was NOT working and I was heading out on vacation the very next day... Gone two weeks with NO PROTECTION ON MY HOME....I sent a letter to "Customer Service" explaining my situation and it was RETURNED WITH A BIG UTF written across the envelope. I am a businessman working within the legal field, I addressed this to the right person....The battle begins to get my sustem up and running and get the protection I am paying for....Paul E. If I could rate it a 0, I would. ADT was on the money when selling me their product, but when it comes to customer support it is god awful and practically non-existent. Multiple calls where I'm left on hold for 30+ minutes and get absolutely nobody. They don't even tell you they're putting you on hold. Terrible company, terrible practice.

Please heed the other negative reviews. In essence: shoddy, inferior equipment and non-existent "costumer service." We've had to replace sensors multiple times, because they just can't get them to function. We constantly have to over-ride error codes. And, recently, we had service scheduled...again, for faulty equipment...and the guy never showed. Wasted a whole afternoon waiting around for nothing. We called the so-called customer service number and was told they couldn't tell us why the guy didn't show up...just that they rescheduled us for another day! On the positive side, the alarm monitoring is good. At least they got that right.

Terrible support. Had a panel that needed replacement and it has been 3 months. Still unable to schedule the replacement. Getting ready to switch providers.

Do not use this service they scammed me out of the referral a friend program lied to me and told me they were going to give me a credit so I will stop calling and said there’s nothing I can do to help you they do not care to hear your side of the story they don’t care to help out with their “valued customers“ I’d advise you look around and maybe consider your own personal options their employees are nasty and they don’t care to help you at all once you sign the contract and they take your money they do not care about you at all buyer beware Long story short I did not receive my credit they are liars and if I could give them zero stars I would

We have had a horrible experience with ADT and I do NOT recommend them and especially do not recommend getting into any sort of contract with them. They have made so many mistakes with us since we have gotten into a contract with them. Every time we call in, we are told different and conflicting things depending on which representative we are talking to. They also made a typo in a charge on our account and over-billed us by $1400 and then made it extremely difficult for us to get that money refunded (they even declined the refund at one point and we were never notified, even though we had been told to expect the money back into our account in 7-10 days). I can go on and on about the mistakes, wrong charges, difficulties, etc, that we have had with them. It has been so frustrating and they have done nothing to rectify any of it. Again, I do not recommend them and cannot wait until we are done with our contract so that we can be done with them completely. After our experience with them, I do not trust them to adequately protect our family and therefore would not trust them to protect your family either.

It's quite a shame that I was unable to give negative stars!!! They aren't even worthy of 1!! My husband and I tried to transfer service from FL. WHAT A JOKE!!! These people have no idea what they're doing! They keep promising full refunds since our service never worked properly from our first install day and a phone call within 48 hours. Never got even 1 call and AFTER we took our banking info of of the account and they picked up the equipment, they go into our account and TAKE over $360 from fixed income retired people without permission. Sounds like stealing to me! We never received any service.... What are they taking money for?? I think it may be time for us to contact our attorney!

Absolutely horrible company to do business with! Lesson learned!!! Empty promises from corporate and their partner company! Was made promises on a recorded line that they will no longer honor! I have ring camera systems in all of my other homes at a much better value!!

Totally happy with ADT, and there technician Dan. Great guy, loves what he does. Came a little late but called to apologize and let me know where he was and how long till he got to my home. Really liked Dan and extremely happy with the install and operation of our system. Thanks so much ADT

This is a copy of an email I sent and have had zero response from the company:First off I just have to say that my installer today, Greg, is a phenomenal asset to the ADT team. He was here about 5 years ago for the first install and he is exceptional .There are a few things I would like to go over with you both in regards to the install process and todays actual install.First off, when Sam came in I discussed with him adding cameras and moving the NVR system to a different location within the building. I was told that that would require 2 separate tech visits/visits. On the day of the first team to come one tech came, I informed him of what I had discussed with Sam and I was told it was too big of a job for just him to do in the time allotted and that the team that was coming in the next day would do it all. That day or perhaps the next Sam called to let me know that they needed to reschedule because the NVR was not in stock... I told him about the issue with the tech from the previous day and how the tech said it was a bigger job than one for just one person. Fast forward to today and 1 tech was sent, albeit an excellent tech. He was slightly annoyed as he had spoken with Sam about my account and recalled how based on the size and layout from 5 years ago it required more time and more people to help.At the end of the install as Greg was connecting the monitor in the kitchen he had to re run the cable, as he pulled the cable from the attic it was still connected to the tv and it yanked it off the shelf and submerged it in a full sink of water. We dried it out as best we could and greg was very apologetic, accident happen I completely understand but I am out a TV to view my cameras now. This would not have happen if he had at least a helper with him.The install process was very frustrating this time around and a dripping wet 30" flat screen was the Cherry on top.
