Terrible customer service on the phone. I have all my items in a storage unit and a complete list and weight available. The lady was extremely rude and obviously did not want the extra work on Saturday. It's an easy move and I suggest anyone in the syracuse area go to 2 men and a truck for their moving services. They are competent and willing to help customers on a Saturday. Thanks!Additionally, when I received my items out of storage, my jewelry box was broken into and items were stolen. They also stolen a bunch of my electronics. You need to watch them very, very closely. They apparently hire criminals and thieves. I wouldn't use them at since they obviously steal items.Reply to Allied comment- 2 Men and a Truck were amazing. They didn't need 2 weeks and they didn't need to come see a storage unit. A 10 x15 storage unit fully packed is 1200 cubic feet. Everything was previously packed and stored by YOU a-holes back in december of 2022. So you have record of my move, of the weight, and where it went. Easy money your company lost. Like I stated, everyone needs to use 2 men and a Truck. They are wonderful!!

I thought I'd be giving them 5 stars, because the movers on both ends were hard working and meticulous. The problem came when I submitted a claim for a piece of a bed frame that was necessary to build my bed (that is, it couldn't be built without the footboard). A footboard bout 4" wide and 3' long. And I was told they were looking for it. Talk about a needle in a haystack! I paid a lot for this move, and a lot for replacement cost insurance. I even tried to get a replacement piece from the manufacturer, but they couldn't do it. After being told it takes 14 business days to have a claim adjudicated, it is now 23 business days, and I'm getting NO SATISFACTION. I am so disappointed by this that I'm reporting them to the rest of you. P.S. A couple other smaller things were lost/broken, but after trying to replace a substantial piece, I'm not even going to bother with them. P.S. Also, I'd suggest not using their car delivery service. While friends who've moved cars were able to pack the car with lots of stuff, I was told the car had to be empty. (I guess so Allied could charge me more for the things I could've packed in the car?). Lame.

Very poor service. Some things turned out to be missing after the move. Had no recourse because they make you sign-off on a very poorly handwritten and unreadable list the minute they finish the move. It's not until you start to go through the boxes, etc. that you're going to find if something is missing. Their position is that "you signed off". I would never recommend Allied Van Lines to anyone.

Allied Movers provided us with a weight quote for a multi state move. We paid in full based on this estimation. Our weight ended up much lighter. They indicated we were owed a refund. We have been waiting for almost $4,000 since June. It’s Oct. they keep saying the paperwork is behind due to Covid! Do not hire them or get it in writing when they will issue the refund.

I previously had posted a glowing review which I based on the packing and loading. However, after arriving at the new house I find I have two large screen TVs with none of the attachments. Almost everything that required disassembly is missing the hardware. Boxes clearly labeled bedroom 1 or bedroom 2 were buried under boxes in the garage. I have been here a week and still cannot find my box of shoes. I guess my expectations were too high after all what are the mental and ethical requirements to be a mover? Don’t know if the experience would have been any different with another company given the caliber of person who is employed in the moving industry. Just be prepared to be disappointed.
