Just finished another amazing class at Barre3! Great instructors, challenging classes, and following all COVID precautions, so it feels safe!

I have only been to a couple free classes that they offer when an instructor is in training. I LOVE it. The staff is amazing. The workout is tough, but modifiable. I love that it’s high intensity but low impact at the same time. I appreciate that there is no pressure to get a full time membership.

I found Barre3 as a new resident of Syracuse and really felt like a found a workout community! I was able purchase a package for myself as well as a babysitting package for my 1 year old. As a new stay at home mom, finding this hour for myself to work out and work on my breathing and focus on myself was a true life saver; and my son was always right outside the door with such caring babysitters. After a month of classes, my son would run in to the studio so excited to get into the play room and did not want to leave after class! All the teachers are so accommodating and always helping and motivating! This was a huge step to losing my baby weight. I can’t wait until the studio opens back up! In the meantime I’m going to try the outdoor classes.

Barre3 is absolutely amazing. I started over a year ago with a Groupon thinking "eh why not" and immediately left my first class thinking "why didn't I do this sooner!" The classes make you feel so empowered and strong. I can't recommend Barre3 enough!!

I found a groupon to try this place and saw that they had a play lounge!! I've been going 3-5 times per week and they are great with my son while I get my work out in. The instructors are so good and I sweat a bunch and push myself and the breath work is so relaxing!

I've never taken a barre class (ever) and was in-town over Thanksgiving. My usual move is to find a yoga studio, but my Yelp searches didn't yield any strong results. Instead, I stumbled upon Barre3, and thought, why not? You know how Thanksgiving is - you over indulge, and I even ran a 5k Turkey trot, so I anticipated being sore from the run, and therefore scheduled a Saturday am class. The studio space is LOVELY. It's open, bright and very clean. The front desk staff was very friendly and we even chatted with the owner of the studio before class (her pup, Roxie, made my heart melt). Upon entering, we snagged a band, two of these slide plates, a small face towel and there were already balls setup against the barre. I had no clue what to expect. All I've ever been told is micro movements and max soreness (of muscles you didn't know COULD be sore). And oh, they were right. Denyea was our instructor and I loved her energy and humor. She's a great instructor. We started off with some aerobic like cardio to get the blood pumping, followed by some plank work (so that's what the plastic slides are for!) and then Barre work with that ball (OUCCCCCH). Thank you for making my first barre experience so fun. I might just find a local studio near home to frequent!

I can’t say enough how much I love this place. I’ve never worked out before with fear of being judged and mom life getting in the way. When I’m here everyone is helpful, kind and welcoming. Plus it’s only an hour and they offer a child’s area during some classes.

There are so many reasons to love barre3! Barre3 delivers a challenging but attainable workout. I get that deep down burn that makes me feel strong and accomplished but I’m also encouraged to modify, when necessary, to retain that positive and deep connection to my body. Barre3 values community and inclusivity which makes me feel welcome and not isolated when I’m in the studio. The Syracuse barre3 studio is gorgeous and feels like a safe and sacred space. All-in-all, barre3 leaves me feeling grounded, strong and revitalized.

From the moment you walk into Barre3 Syracuse, you are greeted by a friendly face. The facilities are clean and well kept. As someone who never took a Barre class before, I didn't know what to expect and now I can't wait to go back! The instructors are fabulous and they offer alterations if needed. I highly recommend you go and try it out!

I initially thought barre3 was going to be more stretch and relaxation. I was mistaken. There is a lot of sweating and work that goes into the 60 minute workout. When you cool down in the last 15 minutes it feels very relaxing but you are drenched from the previous 45 minutes. It can be very taxing on your knees and lower back but the instructor does help you modify the work out to make it work for you. Overall I think it's a great workout.

A serious burn of a workout with lots of adaptations for different body types. A super welcoming environment - plus a play lounge for kids, showers and changing rooms!
