I would never, ever recommend PSW to any baseball player older than 12 who has the skill, ability and dream to one day play college baseball. Until 2 years ago, PSW, which was formally Baseball U, was a great place for a young college prospect player to go. Once PSW took over that changed. Now under PSW, they have dropped their affiliation with Baseball U and are now calling themselves Premier Baseball. Their is nothing "premier" about the program except for the price you will pay in order for your son to play, cost of the uniforms etc. In years past, they went to major recruiting tournaments like Diamon Nation in NJ and others in Connecticut and Massachusetts. Now you get to go to absolutely meaningless so called tournaments at PSW's own fields (Legend Field) in Oswego with little to no exposure to college coaches and you get to pay PSW even more to park there daily to watch your player play and to buy concessions there making even more money for PSW in addition to the thousands you will pay them just for your kid to play. It costs currently $2,700 for an older player 14 and up to play for the summer season. What they do not tell you is the cost for uniforms, jerseys, socks, pants, hats etc. So figure another $600 for that for a first time player and then figure travel expenses and hotels and meals and you can expect to spend around $4,500 or more a season. At no time did PSW ever set up a meeting with a college coach, recommend my son to any college or contact any college on behalf of my son. (My son with assistance from Baseball Factory and NCSA received a full baseball scholarship to play in the NCAA) At one time PSW (Baseball U) had some of the best coaches and instructors I had ever seen, Lloyd Quick, Brian Gaal and others. They have left, a great loss to the baseball program. I coach high school baseball and am a board member on multiple youth baseball organizations and have coached for many years. If you are serious about baseball and your player wants to get to the next level I would recommend looking into the programs and instruction over at Perfect Practice in Syracuse first, as well as attending a baseball evaluation done by Baseball Factory, and if your player is highly skilled consider partnering up with a highly respected and experienced agency like NCSA. Unless of course you just want to put money into the pockets of the PSW corporate staff then by all means give PSW a call. They will be happy to tell you how great they are and how much they can do for your player, while continually asking you for more money during your duration with their program. Good luck and never stop playing baseball.

Bryan, Ben and Dan thanks for teaching my kid the game of baseball! Keep up the good work and dedication to the the kids and the game of baseball. Joe Ligoci
