I had a great experience at this Mavis location. We were able to get an appointment the very next day, which was a huge help. The person at the counter was friendly from the moment we walked in. While we waited, we could hear him dealing with computer issues that were affecting inspections, and he handled every call with real empathy. He took the time to apologize to people and explain the situation clearly, which says a lot about how he treats customers.
The shop was not the fastest that day, and it seemed like they might have been a little short staffed for the season. Even so, everyone we interacted with was kind, helpful, and committed to doing the job right. They took responsibility for the problems caused by the machine going down and made sure people knew what was going on.
In a world where everyone expects instant results, it was refreshing to see a place that prioritizes quality work and genuine customer service. If that is what you value, this is a great place to go.

I had a flat tire and it being my only car with a family of 4 to take care of I needed it fixed ASAP. Dave at Mavis (East Syracuse) was extremely nice and told me they were very busy but he would take care of it as soon as they could. I called 3 tire shops before this and they all said they couldn’t fix the tire for a week minimum for a an appointment! Thanks to Mavis Discount tire I was able to get my car back on the road within a day, I’ve been coming here for years because the service is always amazing. 10/10 would recommend for any of your car needs!

The manager of this shop was extremely helpful and courteous. I went to the store with a nail puncture in my tire 1 day before Thanksgiving... I urgently needed it repaired because I would be traveling 500 miles to visit family for the holiday. The manager already had a full day of appointments, but he told me he would find a way to work the repair into the schedule for me. Within 2 hours he called me back to let me know the work was done and he waived the cost of the repair. The next day I drove 500 miles on the tire with no issue. This store is the best! They will definitely be getting my future tire business.

The staff here are so amazing! I broke the stem on my tire trying to fill it and they replaced it so I wouldn’t get a flat despite being at closing time without any appointment. They even filled the rest of my tires up too. They were so kind and helpful if I could give them more than 5 stars I would.

Can't say enough about the service provided at this shop. Dave helped me with a tire repair first thing on a Monday morning and he could not have been more helpful or kind. He repaired my tire and I was back on the road. I have used this business on more than one occasion and they have always provided outstanding service. I recommend them highly !

Pat and the team are super nice. Got me in for an inspection on the last day of the month and still finished later for me, allowing me to put them behind, even though I goofed and forgot my wheel lock key and had to go home for it. Always have had great service there, for years, with different vehicles.
