Hands down has to be the worst moving company ever. Its been a year since my wife and I had used them for my ets move. I'm now finding out what happened when they were packing my house. They mix-matched every single item and poorly re-packed it all, and broke a few pieces of furniture(cheap furniture, but still). They either did this in my house, or at their facility but now that I'm finally able to open up and go through everything from storage. Things are broken, stuff is simply lost until I can empty every single box out because nothing is labeled and if it is, its from boxes that I packed and labeled and they just decided they wanted to re-pack that stuff with things from other boxes. I just found my printer shoved in a box labeled "Christmas lights" without any Christmas lights even in the box. Horrible service, no care in the world for any of your belongings, good luck finding anything as things are thrown in boxes with zero organization. If this is the company moving you for any military move try to request that its changed, or if you cant switch you need to watch them like a hawk, and make sure that you go through all of your belongings asap to request all of the damages.I've attached some photos showing the mess of stuff in these boxes all labeled by a 5 year old."Kitchen"(has a random mix of personal notebooks and boxes, nothing actually kitchen related)"Linens" (might actually be a sheet in there or a curtain, but its surrounded and wrapped around Christmas decorations, and garland)"Glass" ( You guessed it, there's no glass in there its a bunch of books )"Clothes" ( I think there is a jacket in there but that's the only clothes its books and a whole mixture of other things, like a random throw pillow, paper work, and dvds.)For the furniture that is not broken I am still on the hunt for finding the hardware, wish me luck and don't use these people.

They completed my military move and I am missing quite a bit of irreplaceable and expensive items. Tried calling Pete, who was the lead on the moving crew and of course there is no response. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Thieves. Will break your items. This company deserves to be shut down. It’s a shame people continue to be victims of this horrible company.

WARNING ⚠️ Do NOT hire these guys! THEY WILL STEAL FROM YOU. They stole my sons brand new Nintendo switch, my airpod Pros, and prescription medications. I realized this nearly immediately after they left. They were not responsible for packing any boxes. And these items were sitting on the counter charging in the kitchen. The medications were in the cabinet above the devices. I immediately called the office and attempted to cancel the move as I was terrified that they would steal more from me. But they said that it wasn’t possible and that they would deliver the truck to a storage facility in the state I was moving to.If you read more reviews, you will see that theft (specifically electronics) is a pattern and their employees have sticky fingers. This isn’t a moving company, this is a black market selling operation.

The guys on moving day were awesome. The people in the office, not the greatest.

The WORST costumer service ever. Nice at the beginning, then when they tell you you'll be reimbursed for packing materials they won't use, 64 to be exact they didn't use. They get mad at YOU for wanting the reimbursement back they told you you'd get back. They ignore emails and don't call back when they say they will. So sad. Not happy at all the hoops I'm going threw to get MY money back.

Update to my June review. Well our entire experience was incredible please let this be a warning allied and Fox Allied movers owes us about $3000 they have owed us the money since June 8 and continually tell us that a refund check (overestimate on weight) a check is coming but because of Covid they are slower than normal. They can give us no expectation when they will return our money. If you are contracting with them I would ask in writing how long it will take you to get your money back with a penalty to them if they don't meet the commitment. We are filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, NY State and Angie's list based on this experience being over $3000 I would rate them as a zero no one takes this long to return $3,000.

The incompetence started almost immediately. The in-home estimate was a joke. Ryan didn’t look in any closets, dressers, cabinets or drawers. We had boxes packed and he did not question the contents. The boxes could have been empty, or filled with lead for all they knew. He told me that he was going to send the estimate (based on his estimated weight) by the end of the day. Needless to say that didn’t happen. It took me three phone calls and three days to finally receive the estimate. Every step of the process was more frustrating and time consuming then the last. The office staff, especially Danielle, was super unprofessional, ignorant and RUDE! After they picked up my belongings they told me that they didn’t have a driver to drive the load and had no idea when I would be receiving my things. They also told me the estimated weight was low and the cost went up a few hundred dollars. The latest date that was agreed upon according to the non-binding contract was the twelfth of January That date came and went without any answers to when it would arrive. I went almost a month with only what would fit in my car. Anytime I reached out to Fox Hollow movers I was greeted with attitude, empty promises and no satisfaction. Even the responses via emails were rude and written in all capital letters. Overall, I gave them one star because zero stars is not an option. They had accepted the job without having the means or intentions to complete what they promised. It cost way more and took way longer than what they quoted me. Every issue I had could have been prevented or resolved quickly had they been more honest, organized and professional. I would be more forgiving if it wasn’t for Danielle and the rest of the office staff that had no compassion, tack, sense of urgency, or resolution. They acted as if they were paying me! Moving 1200 miles away is stressful enough so I payed thousands of dollars for them to help make this transition easier, however they did the opposite. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone!! To Others planning to move...BEWARE!

I don't have a problem with the moving company (Northwestern) contracted to do the work. They did a fantastic and professional job.

Would not recommend this company. Multiple items and boxes lost during my move, many items broken. Employees are very slow to address issues with lost items. I have called repeatedly for nearly a month to have items located with no progress. Overall an unprofessional company.1

Very unprofessional company. Lost my scheduling paperwork prior to moving, slow responses from employees. I ended up using the company anyway. Multiple items were lost and damaged. I am still waiting for items to be located from warehouses nearly a month after moving. They are very slow to address these issues or respond. Would not recommend.
