This is my 3rd time here, first two times food was great, this time the Waffle came out like a soggy pancake. Sad to see a good spot serving waffle like pancakes.

This is a one of a kind place. All the respect to the visionaries who made this place happen and even more so to the patrons and musicians who give this place its magic. I remember when it was on Marshall street. Amazing place, highly recommend - just such a cool experience

Such a great place for a cup of joe and a bite to eat. While I was there a Dead cover band was setting up and the vibe was chill. Very friendly staff. I got a brie, bacon and apricot waffle. It and my coffee were excellent! When ordering food at a bar/dinner type place I don't expect much from service. Thus the 4 stars is actually rather above and beyond. Very cool place and I will definitely be back.

Great vegan options! Our favorite is the bootsy brunch, but the banana bread waffle and the tofu egg sandwich are pretty delicious, too.
Keep an eye out for the very rare occassion that they make the jive turkey vegan for special occasions - you won't want to miss it.

Seems like every time I go here, which is only when someone else wants to go, the food gets a little worse. The place is looking pretty grubby. The staff obviously hate their job.

If you'd never been before and didn't know how it works there's no sinage or helpful person giving direction , one member if the staff was pleasant . We stood at the counter when we first got there planing to ask if we seat ourselves or order , how does it work . The two workers at that time didn't even look our way , we asked a third worker about if we just sit anywhere and she told us what to do but she was kind of condescending about it .
The food was just meh .
If you've never been you order at the counter , they give you a pager , you puck up your food , utensils and napkins when your pager goes off , it's very similar to Panera . Water is a serve yourself dispenser on the counter . The system is fine its just not obvious the first time . If the food had been as good as its made out to be I would go back.

First timers, walked in- no hello. Was finally told to take a menu, sit wherever and then go back up and order. Food is not as creative as expected- plain waffle with chicken tenders on top, boring. No sauce. Pb banana waffle plain as well. Little sides of Jif PB- like you could have warmed it up and drizzled it over or something! Bloody Mary’s very salty. Unfortunately not worth the price. Spent $50 with tip. :(

We were excited to try this place. The food was ok. The chicken was moist but the waffles weren’t “it”. They were very busy maybe that’s why. We lived the fact that the offered turkey bacon and it was cooked perfectly. Overall the place was ok, nothing special.

Not really impressed. My chicken was average at best and the waffle fries overcooked. Wife’s cheese stuffed waffle was very plain. The staff were very friendly, but the system was terrible. We waited over 30 min to order them another 30 to eat. And I’m supposed to tip for counter service? Maybe it’s good for Syracuse, but not for tourists.

Great food, great staff, cool music. The house sauce is incredible, highly recommend ordering double so you can take some home.
