My recent trips to John's for winter tires and wheels turned out to be excellent and special again. I was scheduled to have my snows mounted on December 11, but I told Karen I had to drive to Philadelphia on the 3rd (true), so, if they couldn't get me in on the 2nd I would need to take my tires and wheels elsewhere to get them put on. Karen arranged for me to bring my car in on the morning of the 2nd and get the tires and wheels mounted. It was done in a few hours and I can now leave for Philadelphia. Their service is fantastic, way beyond what passes for normal customer courtesy today. Two other employees I encountered were also very helpful. Oh, I almost forgot. A previous time I was in to buy the tires and wheels, another woman at the back desk found tires that saved me about $40. She said the tire company had a $110 rebate, too. She processed the initial paperwork at that moment, then told me to give her the approval code I soon received from the Continental Tire Company on my cell phone. I gave her the code and she filed it out and submitted it. I haven't had much luck with rebates, but I felt good about this one. Well, it did come through. It arrived in my snail mail on December 2nd. That meant I got to use the $110 rebate when I paid for the mounting of the snows on the day it was done!

I always receive excellent service at John’s and it’s refreshing to see people who take pride in the work they perform. It’s the only place I take my cars to for repairs and general maintenance.

Karen, thanks for checking in with me. The repair went great. Went straight out on a camping trip with the truck towing at full load. The axle replacement was perfect. Went great. No problems. You guys made it easy. You’ve got one of the cleanest shops I’ve ever seen.
