“In August 2024 I was driving from Lake Placid to my nephew's wedding near Seneca Falls. I had not had the opportunity to iron my dress shirt en route. Google Maps showed me this business was on my way. I stopped in, explained that I needed my dress white shirt pressed, and asked if they could fit me in before closing. I figured I would have to kill five or six hours waiting, if they could do it at all. The kind lady who waited on me said she would do it right away. In less than 15 minutes I had a crisply pressed shirt, on a hanger in a clean clear bag, and she refused to charge me.
I'm from the West coast, and had driven to the Adirondacks to vacation with family, so it was completely random that I should be in Dewitt. If I lived here, this place would be my regular dry cleaner. Thank you Dewitt Cleaners! Sorry this review is 15 months late.”

“lots and lots of machines of all load-weights and the soaps/dryer sheets were fully stocked. even when this place is packed there are still machines available. facilities were clean and attendants on site”

“Fairmount is the best colonial , it's not sketchy, it's big enough where you're not playing laundry twister , one of the attendants is obnoxious though . She's loud and in everyone's buisness . She's meaning to be friendly but is aggressive . Otherwise I wouldn't go anywhere else”

“I’ve been going to this location since covid and tonight is the first time I saw an employee do any type of work! And then some! I was blown away by the effort. Zee was working tn, I was at the laundromat from 7p-almost midnight & Zee busted a$$ the entire time I was there. Bravo girl! Normally the employees just sit in their cars, are no help whatsoever, and it’s a miserable experience, etc. Meeting Zee tn was a pleasure! And I wish the rest of the staff was like this!”

“The City Laundromat is undergoing positive changes under new management. The place is clean, well lit, and looks to be well taken care of. There is an attendant on duty in the evenings and on the weekend. The bathrooms needs renovations, and new managers are working on that issue.
There are laundry carts available, about 30 various size washing machines that are operating, look solid and clean, There is a row of about 30+ dryers, right next to the folding tables, never have to wait for one to be available. The pricing is in-line with other places nearby. The vending selection for soaps is, good, competitively priced, and convenient. There is a snack and drinks vending as well.
I will definitely be back with more laundry!”
