Everything about our experience with this unit was excellent. We used the unit for about a year. The property and the unit were clean and well-maintained. The employee that we interacted with went out of her way to be helpful and seemed to have all the answers for all the questions we had. We would definitely use them again if the need arose.

I am moving at the end of the month and was in need of a storage unit for my things. I read their amazing reviews here and after now going there,
the good reviews must be pertaining to the outdoor, and building 1000 units.
because my building was not very clean at all. I was very excited when I found my unit here with the amazing price of $100 for the climate controlled large unit. I went in shortly after paying to check out my unit and to lock up the space and upon entering the unit I found several dead roaches scoured across the floor. There had to have been at least 10 of them, along with a box catcher on the floor so I assume they are aware of the issue..the doors to the indoor area are not secure enough to prevent that, and the individual unit doors do not completely go to the ground to prevent them from entering. I was so appalled by this that I was honestly too grossed out to even open my unit upon fear that a bug would fall down on me, or what I would find inside. I just kept seeing more and more of them. I have not yet been able to contact them regarding this issue to give them the opportunity to resolve it as it is after hours but I am hoping they will be able assist me with this tomorrow and work to resolve the bug issue for everyone; as if there are that many in the walkway, i can’t imagine what is inside the units and certainly did not pay $160 to room with bugs. There were so many reviews regarding the great cleanliness of the unit and I am so disappointed by this. I can’t imagine they got my unit ready for me without sweeping the floors leading to the unit, so those must be very recent or they just don’t take care of the facilities as well as they used to from the reviews. I hoped dearly that wasn’t the case. I just don’t want someone else to be fooled by the good deals and reviews like I was ?
[edited] I spoke with Johanna at life storage and she was very kind and helpful. She offered me a full refund for me unit, or the option to change to an outdoor. She said they weren’t aware of the infestation and are hiring an exterminator to resolve the issue.

Please fix CO alarm!! It is giving me a headache while I’m trying to pack my stuff away.
You are aware of the problem ... I have seen an employe silence the alarm and just ignore this dangerous problem. Just as a reminder, it's in the 1,000 indoor building
