M &T has a whole in my opinion has discriminated us against because of our sexuality. They have made jump through hoops and we tried every avenue with no success. Making my partner drive 18 miles each way on several occasions to be told a different answer by the personal loan wasn’t approved yet. Every sing employee from Connie in underwriting's ,to Mike and Joe in the loan department to Debby at the local branch who was pretty nice but never was able to resolve our situation with a credit score of 800. It took them 4 attempts for me to go and put POA in place because not one employee on multiple occasions told me they needed the original. Finally they have had the the POA over 48 hours and still not on file . We have decided different banking options and leaving their investment portion as well. Sad have been customers at that bank before even being M&T bank. They are discriminatory in my opinion and there in never the same people in the branch each time you walk in different faces. Very sad, stressful and frustrating situation!

I have 3 accounts. One checking, one business and a savings and this branch and still doesn’t have time to take care of my needs. It’s always by appointment when they are not doing anything at all. They always said that they have an appointment coming soon.

I was nervous when I saw the poor reviews to call this location but honestly they were wonderful to me & very helpful. I spoke with 2 different tellers & the manager over 3 different calls. All of them were courteous, kind & seemed genuinely happy to help.

I went in to make a bank account, and luckily, I was able to get in without an appointment. Debbie helped me set up a checking account, and she was absolutely WONDERFUL! so friendly and helpful, the whole process was super quick and easy . I also go here to cash my school checks sometimes and it's super easy . The tellers are very helpful!

If you are going to have branches closed on Saturday then staff the branches that are open. Ridiculous. Line was 20 people deep with only two tellers.

Really horrible customer service.Sat there for an hour the other day waiting for my money until 40 minutes went by I finally said what’s going on?And there system was down..Couldn’t have told me that earlier?Problem after problem here.

Bad visit today. Account was closed while out the country. Teller was very disrespectful to us. When explaining to the teller about the account closing and she just kept shaking her head saying there’s nothing she can do when we asked to sit with a branch manager to figure out why it was closed she did not want us even sitting. When we were the only ones in the bank we sat for about a half hour watching customers walk in get greeted and sat with a branch manager before us. It was clear they did not want us foreigners in there. I will close my other personal account on Monday due to the disrespect and embarrassment they caused me.

I have to add to the litany of other comments about slow customer service. I have been sitting here for an hour now waiting for a banker to assist me. There appears to be no one else who can do what she does, she has been with another customer all this time and was quite abrupt with me when I responded that I did not have an appointment. As far as the rest to the staff, they seem to be moving people through here fairly quickly for the usual deposits and withdrawal stuff that could be done at an ATM.

I have dealt with M & T for several years but mostly a different branch. I use this one exclusively now because I find their service much better. They've always been courteous and helpful.

Highly disappointed. My grandfather has been a member of this bank for over 40 years. He is elderly and has trouble walking and standing. We arrived at the branch to set me up an account. No one was in line. After walking in, the clerk that was upfront did not acknowledge us. The second clerk that walked up told us it would be a minute. We said we were here to open a checking account. We were told they could not take care of us because we did not have an appointment. No where on there website does is state an appointment is needed and nowhere on there door signage does it say an appointment needs to be made. Very inconvenient and was not accommodating what so ever. I understand COVID restrictions in place for certain businesses. But businesses need to communicate that to there members. Now we have to come back a different time which is a huge burden on my elderly grandfather. I myself stopped banking with M&T 5 years ago. And it’s things like this that caused me to leave.

I walked in at 12:05 pm on a week day an there were three customers in line and 1 teller. The teller was very involved with her customer and I wait for 5 minutes without any sign the matter would be resolved quickly. Two employees walked through the bank talking to each other and seemed oblivious to us. A male in a suit had a scowl on his face as he walked from his office, picked something off the printer behind the tellers and walked back to his office, not saying a word to anyone. I noticed the drive thru was empty so I left for the drive thru. I waited another 5 minutes after I sent my canister with a simple deposit. Another customer pulled up and we both waited. The teller eventually served us, but at the same time, so I continued to wait. Unfortunately this is a typical experience at this location.

Clean and bright office. Dan who helped us open an account was courteous, patient and professional. It was a great experience going in this branch. The location is very convenient too. Next to all kinds of shopping and dining options.
