The Barnes & Noble OCC Bookstore provides textbooks and all OCC apparel and accessories for students. It is the home of the Box of Books program, designed to help students save time and money on course materials. The store has a solid selection and is easy to navigate, with helpful and friendly employees. While not very large, it retains some of the feeling of a national Barnes & Noble bookstore. Experiences are normally decent, with items available then and there or online. Textbooks and some things can be pricey, as expected, but are not considered overpriced. The Box of Books program is seen as seamless and usually free, a win-win compared to other schools. It does get busy during semester beginnings for pickups, which is expected. The store is a valued part of the campus for many.
Friendly and informative staff. Found what I was looking for.

Ignore the signs on campus (as of 12/18/23). Store is now in Mawhinney Hall. Bookstore prices reflect having a captive clientele . Store hours are not conducive to serving students with 9-5 jobs.

I love this store! Solid selection, easy to navigate, and the employees are helpful and friendly. One of my favorite parts of going to school here (:
