I Make appointments as suggested and still wait over an hour today. All I had to do was drop off a stool sample. I was vomiting at home and sent my husband to drop off. He waited over an hour just to drop off! He was asked for a copy which I KNOW I DONT HAVE. I can't wait to see how this is going to be refunded. I will be going to a different lab and by the way staff could care less.

DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION.
I'd give Zero stars if I could. Do not go to the Grant BLVD location for Quest Diagnostics. I grudgingly accept that I may have to utilize a Quest lab in the future as a covered by insurance option, but I will never walk into this location again.
I had to visit twice in two days. The first time was to have blood drawn and be given a take home test. The second time was to drop off the take home test. On the first visit, I provided my doctor's order for the lab work, and my insurance, and was told to expect to pay $43. When I returned the following day to drop off the samples from my take home test I was told that I would need to pay the $43 plus an additional $89 to drop off the test.
I view that the take home test should have been included in my day one bill (what am I going to do, not return it because you didn't bill me for it initially?) or at the very least it should have been disclosed that - Hey, the extra test we're giving you to take at home hasn't actually been added to the invoice yet, you're going to owe another payment but we'll only tell you how much it is when you've already done the test and can't change your mind.
While I was trying to get an answer for why I hadn't been informed of the charges before test or been billed the previous day with my initial appointment (for the record, I never got a satisfying answer to this), it came to light that the staff had copied my insurance information incorrectly on day 1. This happened despite me checking in for my appointment with my insurance card and scanning it into a machine, and physically handing the associate my card to further review during the appointment. So now I have 2 bills and zero degree of confidence that either charge is actually billed correctly.
This would be bad enough, but in trying to explain to me why the first two issues arose, the staff told me (and I quote) "I had to make up something to tell your insurance so it would process." That quote again "I had to make up something." I was there, with a doctor's order for prescribed lab work, and current/valid insurance, and they needed to "make up something" to tell my insurance?
No. That is completely unacceptable. I was there on doctor's orders, there's absolutely zero reason to need to make something up, because the truthful information is already written down from a valid source. The words "I had to make something up" should never be uttered for either medical tests or billing.
Now, the best case scenario for me will be if the staff is well meaning but incompetent, billed my insurance company incorrectly, and I'll spend the next few months sorting it out with my insurance company and doctor. Depending on what was made up, I may or may not have to pay to have the correct tests done again somewhere else. The alternate scenario is the Grant Plaza location of Quest Diagnostics has a culture of "making things up" and committing medical billing fraud by filing false and inaccurate charges because they can.
DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION.

Made an appointment. Clinic was running 35-40 minutes late. No staff at front desk to help with check in process (several people having difficulty) or to ask about wait times/appointment status updates. One staff member went to lunch while clinic waiting room was full of patients, further delaying clinic. Prior to that staff member leaving you could hear multiple staff members laughing and talking loudly in the back with no patients coming or going from the back of the clinic so it was unclear why we were waiting. When trying to get updates on wait time clinic staff extremely rude. Several of us reported being on our lunch break and were stressed about the lack of communication. Not a professional or efficient visit. Have used Quest many times, though not at this location, and would not use this location again.

There was a petite blonde woman on her cell phone at the reception desk when I went to check in for my scheduled appointment. I was struggling with the electric check in when I had to interrupt her to ask for help after I was vocal in my frustration with the check in.
She became defensive stating she was sending her boss an email through her cell phone.
I was called in by the tech who was fantastic. There was an issue with one of my script being sent to them and she was and did get ahold of the provider. This took some time and I appreciated her going the extra mile and was fine with it taking extra time. The tech asked what the code was for phone authorIzation. Then that same blonde woman barges in demanding to know what was taking so long and proceeded to start typing at the terminal.
Honestly my issue is that she didn’t acknowledge me when I was checking in, nor stop what she was doing on her cell phone when I was vocal about my frustration with it not scanning my cards, then to be short with me because I interrupted her on her cell phone over a period of 2 minutes. She definitely needs yo be trained on customer service. I didn’t appreciate that she was intrusive in my appointment because she wanted the tech to hurry it up for other clients. Which was 3 when I left. Why was she not taking care of them instead of micromanaging the floater? She was rude by sitting at the reception desk on her cell phone not acknowledging me and then trying to rush the tech. Please tech this lady that she is NOT an entitled pretty bleach blonde. I have been going to Quest for over 20 years and am sad that Nancy retired but I won’t continue to go there and be treated second rate.

So I walk in a minute after two a check in. They made me wait all the way till 2:30 to tell me they can’t drug screen me and I had a dead line of the next day to get the screening done of my job. While the nurses yapped and did nothing for the remainder of the 30 minutes I might now not get my job because the nurses refused to screen me. So thank you so much quest diagnostic.

Walk-ins have to wait hours before getting service. Not a good walk in environment. Employees are limited in staff.

This is the best walk in lab you want to go to...I needed a blood drawn and no prescription from doctor...I walked in checked in and was called in right away...the wonderful lady who drew my blood Nancy helped me sign in and make an account in order to request and make blood order without doctors referral...I have a very bad ven Nancy give me a hot pack to make my vens come out instead of just poking me like other places do mostly...I can not recommend this place enough.

I did a walk in and it said it would take 40m which was disappointing but they got me in at only 20min which was good. Nurse person was super nice and went through the exact steps she was doing to make sure the test results were authentic. Most ppl don't care and just go through it super quick but I found it refreshing that the process was explained so there was no question of authenticity.
