This store does not have shopping carts (or at least ones that were in a visible location that I saw), which made it terribly inconvenient to shop. So when I found a necklace near a mannequin with no price tag, I put the necklace in my pocket with the intention of going to the register to ask how much it was. One of the clerks harassed me and said “ma’am, please give me the necklace” in a very rude tone. I pulled it out and apologetically said sorry and that I was going to pay for it but did not have anywhere to put it without risking dropping it (other than putting it on me!). She did not care and took it from me and said she’ll ring it up at the register.
I understand caring about shoplifters, but when you don’t have shopping carts (or visible shopping carts, I have no idea if there was some I didn’t see?), don’t be surprised when your customers put stuff in their pockets. There’s only so much humans can carry before things risk dropping.
If she really was concerned about me shoplifting, I wish she waited until I was ringing up stuff at the counter (because I had other items to buy!) and saw whether or not I pulled out the necklace. If I concluded my purchase without pulling it out, accuse me of shoplifting, go ahead. But that wasn’t going to happen because I’m not an idiot.
There’s also no changing room either, so beware.

Love this store. I would shop there a lot more if I could try on the clothes. Not sure why a clothing store wouldn't let you use the dressing rooms. It forces me to shop elsewhere

Cluttered and disorganized, staff can be rude at times , but I LOVE their clearance items. You can usually get something cute for cheap.
