First, everyone I’ve worked with at Romano Mazda has been friendly and kind. With that being said, that’s the only good thing I can say about Romano Mazda. The first experience I had was a simple oil change on my 2023 CX-50. I had to wait 1.5 hours for an oil change which is frustrating since they told me it would be 30-45 minutes. When I got my car back, it was covered in dirty handprints and foot prints. The second (and last) experience I had with Romano Mazda was for a small recall- I had a tiny (~1”) tear in my drivers seat. It took Romano 2 months to get me in for it to be repaired. Every time I called, they’d tell me “I’ll call back tomorrow to let you know when we can get you in.” A week would go by and no call back- this occurred 6 times in total, even with the manager. When they finally got me in to get my seat “fixed,” I drove over an hour to pick in up and the heated seats didn’t work (they worked well before…). So they brought it back in the shop- A week later I never heard back (I’m still without my car- although they did give me a loaner), so I called when they told me they broke the seat housing in the process of trying to fix the seat warmer that they broke.Just over four months since I reported the tear, my car is fixed and looks/works great again. We ended up buying another new Mazda, and this time we went to Steet Ponte Mazda. We had an excellent sales and service experience- much quicker, friendlier, and higher quality service than Romano. I will not (and encourage no one to) return to Romano Mazda.

I had the best experience at Romano Mazda! Nima P helped me, he is so patient, realistic and honestly really funny. He broke everything down for me thoroughly. With the market crazy like it is, he was up front and honest about pricing and what climate we are in today. I’m in LOVE with my BRAND NEW car!! I want to thank Romano mazda and especially my friend NIMA, for helping me make my first big girl purchase. my friend NIMA kept it real with me throughout the whole process with pricing, if I should lease and or finance, as well as finding which car was in my best interest. I would highly recommend this dealer ship if you are looking for a family oriented dealership that treats you like one of their own and charge your worth for a trade-in, also keep you inform about other options and check in frequently to always allow you to know what's going on especially if you order a car!!! I'm now highly satisfied with my BRAND NEW, ZERO mile 2023 CX-5 carbon edition with the red interior that I was waiting for 2 long months for due to back order ;) for the people that's trolling this company and never had an experience with an actual salesperson shame on you!

I had an awesome experience working with Romano Mazda. Huge shoutout to Nima for his service with getting me a great deal. There were tons of hiccups within the buying process, but Nima was extremely patient and helpful to get me the car I wanted. I truly appreciate the effort he put into making the deal happen. I am very happy to be driving a new Mazda 3 and will always return to Romano Mazda for seamless sales. Thank you!

I was on a weekend trip to Ithaca when my car broke down on the way to a concert, I quickly pulled over and made my way to the Romano dealership and arrived there at 5:30 on a Friday afternoon. I was very stressed and had to drive back to CT the next day. Nils, who is one of the mechanics, quickly diagnosed the problem and had me back on the road by 5:50 that same evening. I truly can not thank him enough for this and would recommend this dealership to anyone.

The worst customer service experience I have ever received from any car dealership. I would recommend going absolutely anywhere else but Romano Mazda.Initially they tell you whatever they can to make the deal, but once the deal is done, things change. They tell you something completely different and drag it out for months and months on end.After negotiating the deal, putting money down and signing all the paperwork, things went downhill.⁃ New car was delayed arriving even though online showed it was at the dealership.⁃ New car arrived with damage and I was not told about the damage until after I arrived at the dealership and had signed the final paperwork.After being informed of the damage I was told that I had to bring the car back at a later date if I wanted it fixed⁃ When arriving for my scheduled repair appointment to get the damage fixed, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the loaner car that I was promised for all the inconvenience was not available. I was told to come back a week later⁃ Once the car was repaired I turned it on and the tire pressure light was on. Instead of the tech inspecting the light at the time I had to come back later that day for them to tell me there was a screw in my tire⁃ Now my brand new, 3 month old car, is having issues not starting, needing to be jumped and not starting properly with the remote start. Romano told me that I could purchase a new battery myself, for the key fob and that “might” solve the problem- Three months after taking ownership of the car, and repeatedly asking Josh P when I will receive my overpayment refund, to be reassured by Josh I would receive a refund, I am being told I’m not owed any additional money. That they reworked the deal after I made a payment on my previous lease and they’re changing the terms of our original deal.Despite various written and verbal assurances from their sales team, specifically Josh P, original deals mean nothing to Romano. Money owed will not be refunded as repeatedly promised.After getting no where with Josh, I got a call from the General Manager Steven, to let me know that, I am wrong and Romano does not have to uphold the original deal. That despite repeated verbal and written assurances regarding the original deal, Romano will not uphold the original deal. The excuse provided from Steven was that Romano should have done a better job explaining why they can refuse to uphold their end of the agreed upon deal.I regret giving Romano Mazda my business and will never go back. An unethical place of business. I recommend you go elsewhere.

Get your own financing when you buy a Mazda, unless you don't mind paying by snail mail. The sales experience was fine. We went with Mazda financing. But the financial website does not work so that you can set up an auto payment for your car payment. We have been trying repeatedly for over a month on several different browsers, on several different devices, to input our bank accounts. And we cannot get the Mazda website to accept our bank account, any of them, to set up an auto payment. We called and spoke with someone who was not helpful. So we had to mail it in, which is disconcerting given the reliability of the postal service at times. We called the dealership, but they were unable to help us in this matter.

Looked at a used Mazda MX-5 Miata . A week later we made an offer. They had just brought the car back from auction because it would not sell. The Salesman called back and said that someone would be there in a half hour and we would have to put a down payment to hold the car at our offer. They told my wife that it was ours. A half hour later the salesman called saying if these people offer the original price they would sell to them. The next day they called and asked if we still wanted the car!!! Hell no. They took a down payment , made a verbal contract and then tried to sell it out from under their word. I have made a complaint to Mazda and the AG of New York . Crooks!!!! DO NOT USE !! They deserve no stars

My wife and I purchased a vehicle from Romano Mazda around a month ago. Before ever going to their physical location, I was in contact with an employee there, Lilie, who was very helpful when answering questions about scheduling test drives, which models were in stock, procedural things, etc.When we actually visited the store, we were helped by Marivic, who was great at walking us through the process. She explained the various models, trims, and availability. We got to test drive the model we were most interested in and had no issues with that at all.The building itself was clean and well-maintained. There was a nice kitchen/waiting area which looks like it'd be nice to wait in during maintenance appointments.After agreeing to a purchase, the financing portion of the transaction went very smoothly, and we never felt like any unwanted extras were being forced on us. Also, we were trading in our old vehicle, for which we got a fair value.A month later, we're very happy with our new Mazda! There are no issues whatsoever, and it's very nice to drive in general. We definitely recommend the brand, and are thankful to Romano Mazda and their great employees for the help!

I went to Romano Mazda. The customer service was very friendly. They answered all of my questions. They were willing to work with me on looking for a vehicle within in my budget. I definitely appreciate them for that. Take a look and you will never know. Anybody that's looking for a vehicle that doesn't hurt their budget. This is a dealership I would definitely reccomend. I was happy about my purchase. It was a pleasure doing business with Romano Mazda dealership. I wanna give a special thanks to Marivic from Romano Mazda.

Just purchased a new vehicle from Romano Mazda last week and had a wonderful experience. My husband and I worked with Nima from the sales department and he was knowledgeable, patient, helpful, and kind. He wasn't pushy and never made us feel pressured or like we were being scammed like I've experienced at other dealerships. All the staff there had good vibes and I would definitely choose them again or recommend family/friends. Nima specifically was fun to work with, he has a great sense of humor and kept us laughing and enjoying ourselves instead of feeling stressed by the process. Thank you Nima and Romano Mazda, I am loving my cx-5 and will be back for service when it's due.
