  Be careful with the cashiers. They actually might charge you for more items than you bought.

  I don't know what it is about Save-A-Lot but every store I seem to go into has a rancid meat juice smell to it and this one is no different. I went here for the convenience on the way home once and that's all I needed to not go back. There were some okay deals going on but literally I can't get over the smell when I first walked in.

  Stink stink stink.
  Walked in and the smell of dead mice punched me in the nose. Walked up 1 isle and the smell was worst. I Walked out without purchasing anything. Just disgusting 🤢

  Great place and affordable, but to be honest, I think they need more security on premises because I did not feel safe around one customer who was very sketchy trying to hide something got mad because i was on the same aisle as him. Other than that, it's a great place to buy groceries

  I just came out of the store and bought Helados Mexico ice cream. My 2 year old nephew was crying wishing to eat 1 while we were at the cashier; so I tried to open the box for him and the entire box was all melted. The cashier tried to tell the so called manager and he was all pissed, madly and arrogantly said “You were not supposed to open it” and he walked away. He literally walked away with a red face. Th e cashier was new with another cashier next to him they were both nice and shocked and did want to see if they could give me a different ice cream maybe because they all believed it was not okay. I paid for it, all I wanted them to know is they need to turn up their fridge. The child was crying I had to go to Family dollar and buy him a different ice cream and ofc I had to pay again. You need to do better Save a lot with your management. I am here wondering if he treated me the way he did due to my background Muslim+women because the tonality and body language was unacceptable the way he was talked to me. Very arrogant person. and thanks to the 2 cashiers for trying to talk to their careless manager. Just know, being a manger or CEO doesn’t meant u won’t need people around you. We need each other. Stop being arrogant to your surroundings or life will humble you.

  It's dump more worried about theft then how the place looks. You can tell by the corporate response nothing will change about this store

  Very much to dislike about this store. Some groceries are expired or brown/rotten in stock. Workers can be somewhat lethargic. Frozen items are warm most times and makes me not as drawn to products and less appealed by the products and store as a whole

  I cant believe this store sits in the middle of a poor community and charge as much as they do a pack of chicken wings 20$ just as much as any other grocery store here in Syracuse ny
